That's the nice thing about ASMR High: you're actually encouraged to fall asleep in class. Although it's considered bad form to snore or drool on your homework. 😀
Ok, I’ve only watched this video once and it’s already one of my all-time favorite ASMR videos. Maybe that’s because Jen is one of my all-time favorite ASMRtists. ❤️❤️
Jen has one of the most perfect ASMR voices, and her pacing and everything is perfect. She balances what she says and how often with what other noises she includes in the video. Its actually an art, and she's very good at it. Not to mention I feel like the YT ASMR community is generally one of the most wholesome on the internet.
A day dream of mine is going on a trip and randomly meeting Jen so I can personally tell her how much her videos helped me sleep during the years ive watched her videos
I'd say this experiment paid off. The more relaxed roleplay vibe is perfect for background asmr. Also the notes/bookmakers in the experiment book was adorable 😴
These were such neat little experiments. That lava lamp was satisfying to watch and I really liked those fizzy sounds. The slushie snow was really cool too. Also, that volcano looked like a chocolate strawberry dessert to me lol, I wanted to take a bite out it; the eruption and the sounds it made were really nice though. Thank you for this super relaxing lesson, Professor Jen!!💙👩🔬🧪🧠💤
I probably shouldn't be watching this right now because I'm trying to stay awake but I just couldn't help myself, Jen's voice is so soothing and the themes and concepts she comes up with for her videos are so creative.
She's beyond it. Incredible person with enormous talent and creativity. Not to mention the awesome voice. She has it ALL. I'm totally in awe of lovely Jen. Been watching and relaxing to her videos I guess since she began. I don't know where she finds the time to think up these masterpieces and put them together with the ultimate in perfectionism. Thank you Jen!!!!
This is by far one of my favorite videos you've done recently. The gentle way you instruct the class in your natural voice really ignites my triggers. You also keep the focus of the action interesting even as I drift off 🥱
@@cam5556 Jen is from the northeast of England, and I could be just dim, but I don't think she's trying to do a Scottish accent here. It just sounds like her normal accent to me, but I'm not an expert.
@@cam5556 I'm definitely not offended. And though I would never say this out loud in a bar in either Newcastle or Glasgow, the accents aren't really that far apart.
This was a cute idea. I hope there will be another one with the other experiments. When I was a kid we never did these but you always saw the volcano 🌋 on tv shows
While my HS Chemistry teacher is many decades older than Jen, she also had a British accent. Hearing the instructions about the proper way to measure liquid delivered with the same accent is stirring long-forgotten memories. Thank-you.
This was fun! Ngl, I got a little apprehensive with the volcano one as I had visions of it exploding (I’ve got a funny fizzy drink story). Good on the spot thinking and improv and I always find your natural clumsiness amusing!
"Just have to be patient and don't force them, they'll drop on their own." Grabs a rod and starts forcing them down. Sorry, just had a little laugh at that. This was a fun asmr, thanks!
Jen, are you on Audible or Spotify yet cuz you’re an amazing ASMRtist with such a wonderful, soothing voice and I believe you would quickly jump to number one if you released like an audiobook in your whispered/quiet tone ❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
What book is it?! Must have and do with my son! Also, I love your teacher character! Oh, yeah, it's ASMR and tingly... I was too focused on the teaching aspect
Today, we must first analyze the components by relative mass using the Least Squares Regression line from the mass spectrometer. Then we can formulate several models for the stoichiometric ratios of the components of the precipitate. After taking a small portion of the precipitate, we will rinse each sample with distilled water, and store them in a control test tube of water, a test tube of ethanol, a test tube of 1M dimethyl sulfate, a test tube of 1M copper (2) sulfate, and a test tube of 0.5M sodium iodate. After comparing and contrasting the relative physical and chemical changes to each test tube, formulate the ratios of each constituent atom/polyatomic ion in the original precipitate. Using our ICE tables and Pka values of crystalline structures, answer with 100% certainty the reactants used in the original product which we measured in the mass spectrometer. No offense, but your class made me fall asleep.
ikr lol

Probably the best comment on this video😂😂😂

As a science student I confirm that this is the most interesting science session I ever attended 😊and peaceful too😴

This brought me back to the little science experiments we used to do at school, thanks for the memories and the tingles as well.
Before my science experiment exam today, I am attending this speacial lesson from Jen for last minute revision😄

The wind(?) sounds in the background are lovely. Reminds me of being cozy in bed on a stormy night. Lovely video, thanks 😊

Your British accent and jaunty lab coat give you an aura of authority that makes me completely trust this chemistry professor.
Even though it is correct, it sounds strange to hear an obviously Scottish accent be called a ‘British accent’
“You have such a strong human accent” lol

this was really fun to watch and listen to i really want another science class also the wind in the background was really nice too very nice
I absolutely love you and your videos!!!
I loooove the fizzing sound at 11:00. 🥰

Brilliant roleplay, wish I'd had a teacher like you in primary school! :)

you remind me so much of my graphic design teacher i love this
I remember when I was in school science was one of my favorite subjects.
This was great! I'd definitely watch a part two!!

Just because I fall asleep during this class doesn't mean this is boring 😁😁😁
As a chemist, I must say, yes, well done there.
Good vid!
This was so great. I put it on last night and 3 min in I was out like a light! Jen once again thx for what you do!❤
this is some gooood asmr 🥰 going straight to my faves playlist!

Omgosh it's happening! I've been waiting for this particular vid with bated breath!

Nowadays I think “Boo school is lame af!” But if you were my science teacher I’d sit down and pay attention 🤩🤩🤩🤩
