- Magic Collar is not about AcaDabraCa nor is it a dark art: what it is is actually a set of inserts or collars as they are called, inserted into the subframes of the car when they are mounted onto the body.
There is always some free play for ease of assembly and during actual driving, there may be some movement of the subframes, and this can affect vehicle tracking, straight-line stability and cornering performance as well.
With Magic Collar, the subframes are more solidly fixed to the body and thus the overall stiffness is improved, resulting in an overall improvement in handling.
There are specific sets made for each male and model of the car; check the website below to find out more and also to find the right set for your car.
There is a Magic Collar for almost every car available here, both for Continental and Japanese cars.
Watch the video and see how it has helped my 13-year Golf Mk6 TSi in improving its handling.

Already installed on my Vios GrS last year at fzy garage, handling much better than before.. A lot improvement when turn into a sharp corner can feel big difference.. Very well handling and more confidence, feel safe to take a corner after that. .. Make sure going little fast to feel the difference😂😂.. Nice review Uncle YS
How much was it?
Thanks for sharing
This tiny mechanical marvel is poised to revolutionize the car industry, and I can't wait to see how it performs on crossovers, with their tall and often clumsy handling. Kudos to Malaysian engineering for developing such a game-changing part under the radar.
Silly boy, this stuff was already available in Japan in 2010 known as rigid collar by Spoon, in Malaysia it was already available circa 2011. It is no longer a revolutionary product by now
I installed a set of my 07 FA5 Si. They make an immediate improvement in feel. Its almost hard to believe.
Noticed improved body roll after the magic collar.😮
Rigid collar good to have on.
Uncle Khong. Would it improve or fix the stability problem on the Ativa?
Is there a stability problem? Whatever, the magic collar will improve the ride and handling by reducing the chassis parts movement while driving.
tight always nice uncle 😂
same as stiff rings....or rigid collar Japan...
May you please do vw jetta 1.4 tsi model 2015 to 2018 any model between those years for fuel economy, I'm in South Africa
Sorry, quite difficult to come by those cars now. But we have one in Australia that did 6.5 lit per 100 km, done recently
Do we need to redo the alignment after installing the collar? Thanks uncle
Anytime you touch the suspension or related parts it is good to check. I had to re doy alignment.
This product is similar to stiff ring which has been in the market for a while.
can it improve my saga vvt 2019 which is very good handling car already ? or should i invest on adjustable suspension first uncle .?
This would stiffen up your body and if you add suspension, the suspension would be better
What is the difference installing this as compare with foaming the car ?
Foaming the car stiffens up the body panels. This one takes up the gaps between the fastening bolts of the subframes and where they fasten to the body.
Wow that is Magic😂
Uncle does ultra racing bar worth to install?
Depends on what you are looking for. Perhaps on the older cars they would be better; the new breed of cars have very rigid bodies nowadays: perhaps if you need to go racing.
After installation do need to make a alignment or not
Advised to do so, in case of movements in the suspension parts. I did mine.
@@YSKhongDriving i think it should be,couse i see like they open the cross member part too(if im not mistaken la)
What is the price for the magic collar uncle, for my gen 2❤❤❤
Plse check the link in the description.
Between Magic Collar & Strut/Anti Roll bars which one is more worth it? Need your advice.
Each one works on a different part of the vehicle. I would put in the magic collar first because the chassis parts on newwer cars is much improved nowadays, but there will always be free play at the subframes
Sir, can I equip my previous-generation 1.6 GLi Corolla with a magical collar that grants it the sharp handling ability of a Civic, without sacrificing comfort? I ask because I'm tired of Civic owners looking down on me, and I want to give them a taste of their own medicine.
It will definitely improve the handling.
Subframe inserts. There are polyurethane ones. Not metal. Perhaps more comfortable than metal.
These are aluminium.
Sir, does it affects comfort in any sort of way?
Not at all. Car feels nicer to drive.
Toll charges and maybe speed limit at genting soon😁
Not yet
After installing the ride should be more firm am I right?
More sure-footed, I would say. Ride is not affected.
How much is it to install the magic collar?
Please refer to the link I put in the notes. Different types of cars have different types of collars and thus each set is customised for a particular model/variant.
Well, if one compromise the NVH, the handling etc would sure improve……
It does not - it just fills in the gaps in the body to subframe fitment.
I installed it to my car now my car flying over the bridge
