Aww thanks so much. Air fry them and let me know what you think. They’re best a little bit crunchy.

Aww, I’m glad. It’s not for everyone but it’s certainly worth trying. It’s a great substitute for folks trying to cut back on breads. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks just bought some at TJ but wasn't sure what to expect from it. Thank you for the great review!

Awesome! I hear people get creative and use it for other things, like cutting it up and making it a casserole similar to scalloped potatoes. Haven’t tried it that way yet but it sounds tasty. I just wasn’t a huge fan of it being used for taco shells. I’m glade my review was helpful love. ❤️

Awww thanks so much 🥰 I always want to give an honest review so that way people truly know what to expect. Whether I love it and they end up disliking it, there’s at least an idea about what to expect. I enjoy doing the reviews. Stay tuned for weekly updates. 😘🥰 Thanks for tuning in.

Not a problem. I personally think it’ll be best that way.

Omg my partner is literally at Trader Joe’s right now and I texted to make sure we get them to try lol 😂 hopefully they are decent. Thanks for the trip to try them sweet instead!

I hope you enjoy. I think trying them with something sweet may be best. I just couldn’t get pass the consistency. But it certainly is a great alternative for normal tortillas.

BessieLB I got them and will give them a shot today! Have you tried cassava flour tortillas? I have GI issues so have to do grain and nut free for a while. They have them at Whole Foods and they are so good! I am hoping Trader Joe’s also gets them. The 365 brand is affordable, retails under $4 for 8 tortillas (somewhere between these jicama ones but not as large as a full burrito tortilla). But not all the locations have them and the brand name ones are crazy expensive. So I hope Trader Joe’s steps up to give us an affordable option lol!

OMG I have not but I’ve done the grain free Siete tortilla chips-lime which is made out of cassava flour and they are sooooo good. I’m going to look for those. Thanks.

Think of it like a cucumber wrap for lunch meat rolls.

They are meant to be consumed raw not cooked, so honestly doubt they taste good cooked.

I know folks that cook them or don’t, it’s a personal choice I’d say. I also mentioned I didn’t like the consistency so cooking it allowed it to soften up. Raw or cooked I don’t love the texture but it’s a great healthy alternative to tortillas however you so choose to eat it.

It’s called flash fry.... lol.... Now that we fry them... are they still healthy??? And still low carb ???? PS. Sounds like a lot of work to just use them... too much prep

If you’re using oil that’s healthy then it should remain healthy. I only use good oils such as avocado oil, olive oil, etc. It’s not being deep fried or anything. They’re super thin so a drop will be fine. Most ppl eat them as is. I was just giving a crunchy type of option. At least try them and see if you like them at all or not.

@@BessieLB I’m gonna see if I can get some and try it... but first I’m gonna research the the root itself to check for toxins... Some root based plants are full of Toxic substances.... but if it is clear I will try it....

Awesome, certainly do that and make sure it’s a go for you. I’m excited to see if you enjoy it. I didn’t love the texture of it but I mean it seems like a great alternative in place of normal tortillas.
