If anyone noticed, Lassiter is saying “the guy didn’t have a cat” this is a reference to the season 1 episode “Nine Lives” where a man was forced to take pills and the only witness is his pet cat.
But remember this is “Psych” though. You have to know they’re not telling the truth, when Shawn was in the Spelling Bee episode he did ride his bike and was injured.
I love this episode but it was kind of weird how similar Gus and John Russell were lol and poor Gus I think the whole experience really made him think about his own life.
Isn't there an episode of bones that's like this? Where she's autopsying a woman who looks just like her, and finds tapes that the victim made that sounds like her?
The show Monk did this as well , Monk's new assistants daughters name was targeted . The assistant steals the Captains car and wrecks it . Next you see her daughter doing her drivers exam and then her mom and the police show up to get her . She starts screaming ," I'm using my mirror , see I'm using my mirror ." Natalie's daughter .
Pharma reps can make some good money selling pills. It's a big industry in the US. Only thing that beats it is supplements which are sold by the same companies but have less federal regulations so they can sell stuff that is bad for you/does nothing.
@@ab7483 Yeah, but in one episode, if I remember correctly, he said he was making something like 60k a year, I don't think you could afford that apartment with that kind of money. Once again, I don't know much about the rent situation in Santa Barbara, so it could be.
If it was in, say, one of the less nice parts of Goleta or the unincorporated lands circa 2005, then yeah at 60k a year you could afford an apartment like that but you'd have been spending rather a lot of your take-home pay on rent. I wasn't sold until the "Pluto?" poster that's friggin hilarious

Good catch! I'd forgotten about that.
He didn’t say “guy”, he said, “the brotha didn’t even have a cat”
What about Gus and his fake cat Mrs Pickles, could be a reference to that also or both
Love that they finally brought back Shawn’s motorcycle that we rarely ever saw. Definitely explains why it’s broken.🤣

According to the Psych podcast, James didn’t like riding the motorcycle 😅
@@kneadieyeah? Why?
"The brotha didn't even have a cat" every time🤣!
Omg I never realized that Rus was the nickname that Gus gave him and how similar it was to his name 😂
I could see this as a Jordan Peele directed horror movie.😉😆
I remember this one. I can’t blame Gus for freaking out. Imagine if it was you.
I found it weirdly endearing that Shawn called Lassiter for money
As funny as it seems, it is actually terrifying.
Dude that Pluto poster with the music goes hard
I love this episode! "That's how I knock", said the Gus badass!
I love this episode but it was kind of weird how similar Gus and John Russell were lol and poor Gus I think the whole experience really made him think about his own life.
You mean Gus and Rus?
We'd all probably be freaked out if we walked into a crime scene with the victim being almost exactly like you in interests and work and hobbies 0.0
Certainly helps with some of his motivation to move to San Francisco with Shawn at the end of the season
Yeah, but did Rus have a white best friend?
This was an episode or the new gus centered movie?
4:11 and 4:18 Who the HELL murdered our beloved magic head?
Please give me some MONEY! lol
why don't you leech some from Juliet she's used to it by now lol poor Jules 😅
More like "PlEaSE GiMME sOmE M O N E Y!!" 😂😂
Talk about an out of body experience 😂😂
1:27 big boy words
0:56 "Will you please stop pretending to work!"
4:01 lmao! just the best!
Miss this show! ❤️
Identity theft is not a joke, Rus!!
💀💀💀
2-3-4, 5 other guys suddenly get hot with the ball and there you are, 6th Place !
Everybody’s working for the weekend 🎼🎼
Everybody wants a little romance
I wish I had a moment like Gus did, that made me reflect on my life for better and funnsies .
Best show ever
This episode was amazing

You guys mixed up the episode description. The one on here is from "1967: A Psych Odyssey".
pluto?
"Have you heard of it?"
They probably did the right thing no longer counting it as a planet lol🤣😆
Well, it certainly gave Gus the best pickup line ever.
@@doctorjay8673 "that's messed up"
That's messed up 😂
This is wild !!!
Yes!!
Lasiter's voice sounds just like Goerge Clooney!❤
I love this one
Which episode is this?
Season 8 Episode 11
Season 8 episode 5
Hard to get 6th place🤣
This scene cracked me up!! It's just one Gus Easter egg after another 😂
Just saw this episode😯😂
Where’s the pineapple 🍍?
Pltuo?
Genuine question: Can someone like Gus really afford an apartment as good as this one?

@@unknown3158 Your probably right on that. idk if they do commission but its a minor detail. California would be way expensive regardless.
@@ab7483 It's a show, so I guess they didn't really think it through :P
