I used to only play difficult specs. Truth is, it is really unfun to do. When I raided as outlaw after the rogue rework in DF, I was so busy with my rotation I started having trouble with mechanics. It's not like I died to them but I was so focused on my own stuff that I stopped using comms in keys or raid (where I am one of the raidleaders in my guild). Damage was really good as outlaw was one of the highest simming specs in DF season 3, but it is not like it was much better than say, a ret paladin. And the game definitely got less fun because of that.🎉 I'm gonna play an easy ass spec in TWW and it's still going to be hard to get top logs in raid, because everyone else is also playing that easy spec. I'll find the challenge measuring up against other players, not the spec itself.
i main dk since the beginning of time but for me personally frost feels harder to play good then Unholy I guess Unholy is a bit more forgiving sometime but from a not dk main perspective I agree on the list
I agree, if it's just do your basic rotation, sure frost is dead stupid easy but if you want to min max, I think it's much easier to screw up on frost than it is on unholy But I would still put both in easy or mid at highest XD
Putting frost in easiest most certainly means it isn’t being min maxed correctly. The buff maintenance and mini games are much more punishing and difficult than unholy
I also feel Frost has historically been hard. To min max it is not too much different than fire mage, the difference is Frost is easy to get the basics of whereas Fire is a bit harder to understand upfront for most players.
I've mained ranged DPS since legion and was fully convinced I would be maining DK for tww to mix things up (and I love their lore), but I have found that I can't see shit that's happening the second I try to do group content. Questing is fine, but I don't remember this much visual clutter

Almost everyone missed in feral that if you bite bloodvines they explode for more damage, making you shift targets real rast. How is that passive? Or easy?
I see no real need for an enhance rework after the, arguably pretty major, changes that came in last week. Opened up the talent points needed to make everything work, and lined CDs better. Its super sick.
I personally just believe you should be able to get Hailstorm, without putting 2 points into Lava lash, Which has no synergy with Hailstorm, So lava-lash and the next upgrade are throw away talents, if you want Hailstorm and Ice strike, I think it should be seperated, but besides that I agree it looks amazing!.
i messed around with Survival on the beta yesterday and I have never played the spec, but it was crazy fun and after reading through its abilities in like half an hour i was having a blast in dungeons! i would say outlaw is def harder, but could be just me lol.
Can only speak on Outlaw and Enhance. I find Enhance has a lower skill floor but significantly higher skill ceiling than Outlaw. I think if Weak Auras didn’t play Outlaw for you the spec would be extremely difficult, but WA’s just simplify the buff management so much

Should Tier lists consist of the hero talents instead of the specs for the war within? There are some specs where the both hero talents are so far from another that putting one spec in a specific tier does not represent either of the hero talents. Your thoughts?
I think Surv is easy, you just have to understand there’s 2 separate AOE rotations depending on mob size. Once you get the feel for that it’s up there with Fury imo in terms of simplicity
@@grimickles8109 I would say survival is one of the specs that gets more easy as you play it than other specs. As someone who has mained survival for a few exps now and tried it in TWW the placing is just so off.
6:56 blade flurry hasn’t changed? It still generates CP in ST but it’s now going to be not really worth pressing in pure ST because it’s no longer being used to keep up slice and dice by under handed upper hand. Slice and dice is instead being kept up by a baseline passive learnt for all rogues which makes dispatch extend the duration of slice and dice.
IMO, melee is very hard because you have to right on top of the target who moves a lot and can't be tracked unless you have the reaction time of a teenager on some sort of illegal substance. But then they now make it so you can hit from 3 icons away (that circle around your character) it seem any fool can play melee... and this is most evident in solo shuffle as a healer... you get 3 great players for every 30 "just learning" types.
I am also very annoyed at the removal of tear open wounds from feral - I like the little mini game of biting targets with the vines on them - but I don’t think that I like it more than being able to spam PW and weave in as many bites as poss etc - gonna need a weak aura to track the vines prolly
Didn't the defile ability used to have a different animation? Like wasn't it like skeleton hands or something coming out of the ground can't we just have a glyph to change the spell look?
The hard that comes with Fury is not developing carpal tunnel with its' high actions/min. Long time fury/prot main. I never liked Arms as much as Fury, but a night of progression raiding can set your forearms on fire...If you don't already have the stamina
I found Fury much more… “comfortable” I guess would be the right word, once I got an azeron keypad. Unfortunately I absolutely hate bladestorm (it’s animation just looks *so dumb*) so I’m probably gonna be switching to something else in TWW

Exactly, the challenge in encounters should come from the mechanics of an individual fight, not the complexity of the classes. There’s a reason Ret paladin and BM Hunter are far and away the most popular classes…
its not true at all, you need max 5 addons and its really not hard to google how to do it. you dont need macros to play atleast decently. and its also not hard. If somebody is dumb, everything will be hard for him.
The easiest melee spec in the game is the one you have thousands of hours on. The hardest is the one you've never played. Unless it's fury. Everyone knows that spec is a meme.
Assa suffers a lot from the loss of Shadowdance. That said, I think if they either allowed assa access to 2 charges of Vanish or a talent that reduced vanish to a 1min CD things would get better. Also the current idea with Assa is to talent Echoing Reprimand. Mind you i do not like said talent although it made more sense when we didnt have access to 7 combo points. Now that we do... even less of a reason to want it yet Assa has no real reason to go Cold Blood these days so... i dunno, lack of options kind of screws with it. Without a Trace is kind of in a weird place on the rogue tree but i half expect that will be the play than Echoing Reprimand and just take a point from Lethality or something
I'm curious good sir, and this is not meant to be overly critical more of a communication question: Why not do an overall video about melee dps and rate them in categories like Ease: 2/5 stars, Power: 4/5 stars at current tuning, Fun 3.5/5 stars. That would cover all 3 videos at once. Revenue/clicks, pleasing the algorithm, just enjoy making videos? I am only curious.
Blizzard not fixing Defile visuals for years is the most disrespectful middle finger and shows that they do not care about the spec. All the DK changes (Unholy at least) are not what is defined as rework. Core class mechanics haven't changed.
From what ive played, SV is by far the hardest to keep your rotation optimal, by far..... Way too much going on that you NEED to be pressing, they like 8 or 9 mandatory damaging abilities to hit, and they all come in their own little groups of synergy and mechanics. It is a straight up symphony button mashing. Not to mention the crap ton of CC and utility available. The spec is cracked and is a must for crackheads. Im going frost DK i think.
lol BoS frost is probably actually closer to very hard given the gameplay is simply not designed for the gameplay types that exist in this game-- so you're constantly trying to make a square peg fit into a round hole.
the feral placement is weird compared to those other specs. big disagree. The variance in feral performance alone suggests otherwise. it has the widest margin between bad and good players compared to some of those other specs.
Wait, so you just said that the variance of performance is wide. The variance of player skill is wide as well. So, it is legitimately mid, it basically shows your skill level instead of lowering it if it was harder. Or increasing it like some other specs or...the entirety of warlock for the whole history of the game. Legit curious what you disagree with?
6:55 I don’t know where you got your rogue gameplay but my god there has been very little slice and dice up time and it should always be active…. And as assassination just before you didn’t even have it up and you were pressing envenom… Slice and dice should be 100% uptime in TWW… o-O
I totally disagree about feral it was way easier with tear open wound and im really happy its gone you would do nothing else than spam primal wrath now you get to press more than 2 buttons. And the complexty of it with now a low cd bleed is to keep rake on all target at all time snapshotted if possible.
Does anyone know if dual 1h will be on par or close to 2H for frost yet (as opposed to 2h being noticably stronger currently)? It's hinging my main pick for TWW.
In my opinion Frost dk isnt one of the easiest speccs. i played a lot of cata classic and there it is one of the easiest speccs but in Retail it isnt. I mean the basic rotation is quiet simple but to deal high amount of dmg with frost dk is harder than ret pala or fury warrior u ranked to the "easiest" tier. DnD playstyle is a problem in m+ yeah but thats not the main reason that many ppl think frost dk is bad atm. I mean i main frost dk but many frost dks i see dont do good dmg. U have to hold up Remorseless Winter buff on u, which is very hard without bl, and on the adds. Another thing is that u dont do any relevent dmg when u not in ure pillar of frost so it is very important to do high dmg in a 12sec window but im glad to see a dw froststrike build for frost dk in tww maybe we do some more dmg outside of ure pillar window. I dont played the beta yet but i think Blizzard helps frost dk to deal high sustained dmg outside of our pillar window
ah sub rogue was fine in the beginning of DF, but not its really a mess if u ask me. but it has the better heros than assa. the heros of assa are so lame right now
how does literally everyone say SV might be the easiest rotation in the history of wow and you put it in "very hard" :D :D :D did you even play it for a second? :D
Feral in both Hero specs is garbage. Mark my word, feral will NOT be competitive in any way shape or form. The problem is bleed damage and the RNG screw called Ferocious Bite. Bleed damage cannot be balanced. Historically, when they have tried, it has been a giant fail. Ferocious Bite is so RNG, it isn't fun to play (it has been garbage since the ability was introduced at the end of Vanilla). Having max combo points, 100 energy, berserk active, being in the snapshot, and then doing 120k in full tier gear is beyond garbage and mediocre. I, as a feral since vanilla, am sick and tired of hearing folks (cheesey and others) saying how fun the spec is to play but failing completely, in every way, in the competitive scene. The expac is going to exponentiate the issue of: Why bring a feral, when I can bring other specs that have better utility, a battle rez, and not have to rez the character after every other boss fight because it is squishier than a clothie (the changes to Guardian, hammered all the survivability that feral had). It is bad enough in most pre M+ 10 groups currently, you will be passed over for other dps in forming groups. In the expac, it is going to be exemplified...... but HEY, FERAL IS FUN TO PLAY. (Daddy Blizzard didn't mean to throw me down the stairs and break both my arms, he LOVES me - Feral Stockholm Syndrome on the forums and discord). Back to Bleeds. The bleed issue also hammers the Assassin spec as well. Bleed damage (and this is a very controversial thought) needs to be eliminated and replaced with a damage type that can be balanced without turning a spec from godlike to mediocre by a simple tweek. Increasing its output by tying it to Mastery has proven it doesn't work because all secondary stats are hard capped at a certain percentage. So at some point your bleed damage will be hard-capped and new gear will not help the issue. Until this gets addressed, both specs are never going to see serious competitive play and are going to be the meme speccs (much like feral is now). Not to mention, feral is also capped at 5 targets for cleave damage.
Damn, at least watch someone else's video to get an idea of the spec. I skipped to Havoc and it was clear that this guy didn't know his stuff at all. Lots of wrong information (orbs are sucked up now) and missing the most important reason why the reaver spec is hard to play. Namely lining up 8+ damage windows.

there is absolutely no spec or class that requires you have to 60 addons (or any addon) to be successful in pve. or really any macros
@@pepelechad536 Tell that to actual raiders 🤣
its not true at all, you need max 5 addons and its really not hard to google how to do it. you dont need macros to play atleast decently. and its also not hard.

Cant wait for a ranged video.
Blizzard not fixing Defile visuals for years is the most disrespectful middle finger and shows that they do not care about the spec.
All the DK changes (Unholy at least) are not what is defined as rework. Core class mechanics haven't changed.
Man it’s so hot out what can I do inside? *Marcelian uploads*. I’m in.
Im going frost DK i think.
only thing I would change is I would put WW in easy. Its massively oversold how difficult it is just nobody plays it so they dont know pahaha
I'm going from maining boomkin to frost dk!
People say ret is easy then they overcap holy power and have no clue how to use execution sentence and align it with cds
lol BoS frost is probably actually closer to very hard given the gameplay is simply not designed for the gameplay types that exist in this game-- so you're constantly trying to make a square peg fit into a round hole.
im not sure why you are so biased about arms.
the feral placement is weird compared to those other specs. big disagree. The variance in feral performance alone suggests otherwise. it has the widest margin between bad and good players compared to some of those other specs.
or is it because it's a very unpopular spec and boomies playing feral can't play it properly?
Wait, so you just said that the variance of performance is wide. The variance of player skill is wide as well. So, it is legitimately mid, it basically shows your skill level instead of lowering it if it was harder. Or increasing it like some other specs or...the entirety of warlock for the whole history of the game.
Legit curious what you disagree with?
6:55 I don’t know where you got your rogue gameplay but my god there has been very little slice and dice up time and it should always be active….
And as assassination just before you didn’t even have it up and you were pressing envenom…
Slice and dice should be 100% uptime in TWW… o-O
I totally disagree about feral it was way easier with tear open wound and im really happy its gone you would do nothing else than spam primal wrath now you get to press more than 2 buttons. And the complexty of it with now a low cd bleed is to keep rake on all target at all time snapshotted if possible.
outlaw is not hard, praying to RNGesus on roll the bones procs and sacrificing your first three children for a mega proc is hard
That tiny neck intro shot.
I very much disagree with Survival hunter's placement. It is around the easiest melee spec to play in my opinion and get good numbers.
Confirmed Feral Druid is mid.
harder doesn't equal to better
Love the fantasy of rogue but not actually playing rogue.
can someone explain snapshotting for dummies
There it is!! Thank you sir, excited to see this one!!!
Hope you like it!
Outlaw without weak auras is just unplayable
Torn between ret and unholy dk for my main what whould you choose
I think UH is a lot more interesting rotationally and regarding class fantasy too. Bonus of having a 2nd dps spec too.
Do both. Those are two of my mains as well
Ret is so insanly strong for group content utility wise if the big package will be used! Its so much fun! Old warrior main by the way...
Does anyone know if dual 1h will be on par or close to 2H for frost yet (as opposed to 2h being noticably stronger currently)? It's hinging my main pick for TWW.
I like DW with shattering blade explosion
I dont played the beta yet but i think Blizzard helps frost dk to deal high sustained dmg outside of our pillar window
survival really isnt that hard, you just press KC before your big booms.
Hope sin rogue becomes viable. Thanks for the video! Slowly deciding whether to lean towards survival hunter over rogue as a whole
LOL How is DH hard?
Rogue worst and hardest lets gooo
When you thought you had it all :)))
FLAMEshock!
ah sub rogue was fine in the beginning of DF, but not its really a mess if u ask me. but it has the better heros than assa. the heros of assa are so lame right now
You apparently have never played enhancment
survival hunter is easiest
how does literally everyone say SV might be the easiest rotation in the history of wow and you put it in "very hard" :D :D :D did you even play it for a second? :D
Every tierlist buts unholy as hard, i dont know if this is some trolling or every tierlist maker has braindamage. Unholy is easy.
Where is the best class for delves video😂?
My mind explodes when people say unholy is hard to play. You swifty macro your cooldowns and spam death coil… lmfao
Mind sharing said macro?
Saying frost is easy means you didnt play frost at all
Try to maintain your BOS without training is very frustrating
most people play oblit instead, einstein.
@@lt2064 guess you dont know what youre talking about
Feral in both Hero specs is garbage.
Vamos, vamos!
Gracias, senoras :)
lets goo
Enjoy!
Survival is ez
personally I think 2H Frost DK is the easiest spec right now
