Shane, I just published another video on using a Shark Bite plumbing fitting to install a refrigerator water (ice maker) line. In the next month, I will be publishing 9 or 10 videos on how to finish a stairwell with Cap A Tread stair treads, installing a Newel, and several other stairwell components. You may be interested in them.

Trying to do it for the first time now. How do u open the door with one spring broken?!? I pulled the red string to disengage it and tried to lift it, and it doesn’t bulge. Sorry for the dumb question. Thanks!

      DIY and Me,
This is a very good question. My garage doors are small. So, it’s easy for me to move them up their tracks by myself. I’m assuming that you have a large and heavy door. If this is the case, I recommend that you use 2 people to lift and move your heavy door up its track. It’s important that to station one person on the right and left edges of the garage door and move the door evenly up its track. If one side of the door gets ahead of the other side, the door will most likely bind and it will be very difficult to keep it moving.
Otherwise, I'm glad to hear that my video helped and I appreciate your interest in my channel. I retired recently and have plans for another 200 to 300 great videos.
