    When will you make one that doesn't have your proprietary belt clip and is instead tapped for malice clips for mounting to molle?

      Thanks for your question. While it is proprietary, our Snap-Loc belt loop system is indeed designed to fit MOLLE gear perfectly. With the belt adjuster removed, the clip fits snugly and securely through two rows of MOLLE webbing and locks into place. At this time we have no plans to incorporate or accommodate other clip systems, but we do appreciate the feedback.

    @asp how do you unlock the snap lock on the exo, just got it and its too tight

    • @aspusa1
      @aspusa1  3 роки тому +2

      All of our Snap-Loc clips operate by pressing up (towards the top of the case) on the lock, while lifting outward on the “duck bill” lip of the belt clip. The easiest way to do this is by using your thumb on the lock and your index finger on the duck bill. The cases do lock quite tightly, as they need to be absolutely secure on a duty belt in dynamic situations, so they take a little bit of initial effort to unlock. But once you get used to the technique, it should be quite smooth and easy.

      @@aspusa1 I’m still having issues can you make a quick video and show us how when you first get the handcuff case how to do it correctly? Been messing with it for an hour now and still can’t get it.

      @@huntersever6320 hopefully you got your clip open by now, but the clip is just very stubborn and requires a little bit of extra pull than you’d expect to open it. I found that holding the case down against my leg while pulling on the clip and releasing the lock was the best way.

      I’m actually sweating trying to take it off my belt. It’s impossibly secure once it’s on

    Will this fit different brands of cuffs? I have S&W Model1H cuffs. I tried it on a friend’s exo case and I think they fit okay but have not tested them in real world situations.

      The Exo Case is made specifically for ASP Ultra Cuffs. It might fit other handcuffs, but there will probably be some play in the “fit.” We would suggest bringing your handcuffs to an ASP Distributor to test them out and see if they fit and work acceptably for you.

    @ASP I love the idea but I dont think it will be secure while tackling a person, sorry if my opinion upsets you but overall I don't think it will be secure

      Hector, thanks for the comment. The Exo case - like all of our cases and other products - has been engineered and tested to stand up to real-world street use. The design and functionality of the case take the inevitable wrestling and "rolling around" that comes with the job into consideration. There are already hundreds (probably closer to thousands at this point) of Exo cases out there on duty belts, and so far there have been no issues.

      I feel like I'm somewhat qualified to answer this, but may not be an absolute authority. I work in a jail with one of these on my right hip every day for the past six months and I've had to perform takedowns, tackles, hip slides, hip checks, and a whole lot of other stuff and these still engage and disengage flawlessly with only minor cosmetic damage and hold the handcuffs just as securely as they did on the first day

      @JEST3R_ they are ok but they don't deploy as fast as other cases. That's my only gripe really.

      @@Jose-fc5yd They deploy faster, I find.
