Companies makes mistakes every day, and I've found it's how you handle the issues which means customer retention or not. You sir have a bright future.
No way, we charge extra to clean the rocks from the grass. The customer needs to know know matter how good the operator that rocks in the grass will happen / unavoidable. Wet heavy snow is the worst for this. With that being said it looked to be alot of operator error. Put skids/shoes on the blowers and to help reduce the problem and get a couple tractor mounted brooms. They work great for that.
Buy a couple pto driven brooms for your tractors. I sometimes use a pick up broom on a skid steer or mini loader.
Sounds like a great way to also have to go out to fix tire ruts in lawns too.
We own a snow removal business in Ottawa. We use a skidsteer pick up broom. As long as the grass isn't too wet , skidsteer saves a lot of laborers with power brooms!
On light snow storm as and operator I just compact the snow with tire but I saw in Quebec they added a liftable bar with multiple tires
You need to put a broom on the front of a compact tractor or a large garden tractor, we use this method and it saves a ton of time!! Just need a good operator.

You should do it an asphalt business and recommend all your customer with gravel driveways to get asphalt. It’s easy money.

You’ll always have rocks in grass with gravel driveways but when cleaning up test it before you do it but could try a light duty skid steer with a hydraulic brush to speed up and lessen the work load a little bit on your workers.
Minchia! Those clean-ups must of cost you a fortune.

Pipe cutting edge on blowers. We have them on our snowplows.
Or just lift the blower an inch or so off the ground until you have a base.

That is damage for your machines and usless extra costs on you. U need to find a solution for gravel driveways like broom sweeper or other blower sistem. In rest u are dowing an wery good job !!!! Proud of you at your age managing an businnes like that !!!

Dedicated blowers that just do gravel with fabricated extra wide skid shoes that glide on gravel and keep cutting edge and inch above gravel at all times

Simple solution…don’t take on snow clients with gravel driveways
most driveways in our city are gravel sadly..
Then thay lose half there driveways
