Thanks Lee for the vid, another good one and very informative. By the corrosion the liquid has been in there a good while, lucky it was just leg damage to the mosfet rather than the board tracks.
Yeah that's been sat there a long time. Even if the trace had gone on the board it could still have been fixed. But most of the time a little scrub brings the trace back
If it's an instant beep off it is probably mosfets, it's it stays on for 2-5 seconds before turning off that could literally be anything and very hard to diagnose.
I have a similar xbox one. However if i plug and unplug the power brick once every multiple tries the light stays white (on brick) and i can turn on. The mosfets on 12v rail are all good and no weird water damage or crunchy bit. The power brick is a known good. I tried also with another power board (with the xbox logo) and still same symptoms. What else this could be? What other parts should i test? Thanks!
That's a very strange issue that I've seen on YT before. Unfortunately I've not seen that problem resolved and never had a console that's done that to inspect it.
Cheers for supporting the channel geez and cheers for the shout out 💯🤜🏼 another job well done 👍🏼 what did you end up getting for it?
I thought I was already subbed to you Max. I've not listed this one yet, just fixing a controller to put with it.
@@RetroElectronicRepair no worries geez. I’ll defo be sending you anything tech I need looking at 💯🤜🏼
Great video, really helped me, thank you

Brilliant result, thanks for letting us know how you do. It
It's usually those MOSFETs or IC controllers or a blow capacitor.
