I badly want to go back to China soon. They don't do anything by halves there it seems. I remember visiting Beijing in the 90s as a kid with my family. It wasn't as glitzy, but still everything was just so huge. The first thing we saw the night we arrived was Tiananmen Square--huge! Portrait of Mao hanging from one of the buildings--huge! Also so many people flying kites. Thanks for taking us along!
Gosh, I am sure Beijing has changed a lot over the past few decades! I’m so intrigued to find out what the city is going to look like even 10-15 years from now. I loved Beijing so much🙌🏻 Couldn’t have asked for a better city to start off my China trip with :)
In the cold winter atmosphere, the space is calm and dignified. The fragrant aroma of traditional Chinese tea gently spreads, blending with the surrounding modern atmosphere, creating a fusion of tradition and contemporary.
I have seen quite a few videos of the Forbidden City and the Llama Temple, but you have a knack for finding the best angles to portray the grandeur and artistry of the classical architecture. I especially like the shots of the Llama Temple, which is somehow ignored by most vloggers. Now I was to explore these places for myself!
The sheer size of the Forbidden City is stunning! China World Mall and The Place look great to visit too. Oh wow, I can't wait to see the Terracotta Army vlog - your vlogs are filmed so well, its like being there 🤩🙋♀
Ahh, that makes me so happy :) Thank you! I try my best to capture my experience and I’m glad it also comes across that way. The Forbidden City was incredibly large. It just kept going!
Thank you. Fingers crossed. I have a few weeks to go until the end of the year, so let’s see :) Ohhhh, tough choice. I really did enjoy all of the stops along our China round trip. I loved Shanghai. But I also adored Yangshuo and the beautiful karst mountain scenery🙌🏻 Beijing was super fascinating as well! But if you were to put me on the spot, I’d probably say Shanghai over Beijing.
@LesleyAdina Draussen die Daumen 😂😂. Oh wow you did Yangshuo as well 😱😱. I think most foreign tourists prefer Shanghai because there is less language barrier. If ever you travel again then I would happily be your interpreter especially with your dietary requirements. I went to Shanghai in May 2016...too busy meeting up with friends and did very little sightseeing but I am watching vlogs now, I don't recognise it anymore 😄😄.
Haha, thank you :) I appreciate that🤗 I’d imagine especially Shanghai has changed a lot over the last few years. My Shanghai vlogs will take another couple of weeks because I am uploading in chronological order of my trip. But I’m excited for you to watch them. Yes, Yangshuo was incredible😍
