Your videography skills truly come through in your travel vlogs! Bravo!! Loved the editing and choice of music. Thank you for giving us two vlogs a week🤩
The views really were spectacular! I’m glad I filmed the timelapse of us going through Qutang Gorge. So fascinating🙌🏻 Thank you for your support💗 I am so glad you enjoy the vlogs :)
My family took a Yangtze river cruise too back in the 90s (I guess on the same trip as Beijing). My ahem ahem personal translator (i.e. mother) told me that after the 3 gorges dam would be completed, cruise ships couldn't pass anymore, hmmm! That show about the Romance of the 3 Kingdoms looks amazing! What city was the show located?
Oh wow, so you got to do a cruise before the river levels rising as a result of the dam? Must have looked wildly different! Just tried to look it up and apparently the show was in a city/area called “Dongxi Town, Zhongxian County”. Your mom might be right in the sense that I don’t think the cruise ships actually pass through the Dam’s ship lift. So for instance, there may not be a cruise that takes you from Chongqing all the way to Shanghai where the Yangtze flows into the sea. Don’t quote me though ;)
Oh that’s lovely! For the most part, locals sold tea leaves, nuts and dried mushroom (?) at our anchor points. Might have been tempted by a non-edible souvenir but it didn’t seem like they sold things like that when we went
I did. In fact, that was one of the additional shore excursions that the ship offered for an upcharge. Didn’t end up booking it because of weather conditions (fog) that day.
Through grand stage and lighting, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a classical masterpiece, is magnificently performed.
It truly was magnificent🙌🏻

Cool video. Had you thought about hiking to the peak of the Three Gorges (ua-cam.com/users/shortsMSllXo-QEqU)?
I did. In fact, that was one of the additional shore excursions that the ship offered for an upcharge. Didn’t end up booking it because of weather conditions (fog) that day.
Where are the artistic performances performed?
I did not film the entire Romance of Three Kingdoms show. There were some artistic performances but it wasn’t the focus of the show. Hope that helps
NGL century cruise got better ships 😂😂
I didn’t have a say in which cruise company we ended up going for but tbh, I was pleasantly surprised by our ship. No complaints :)
