Going by memory, as you hit the vlakte below the tafelberg and spout - I think where you had the snack. Cut left (away from consolation peak for about 300m to a rocky outcrop where you will find water. That was our camp site when volunteering as climbing instructors for the Scout Adventure Camp. Even when the drip behind the spout was dry, the water on the vlakte never dried up - even in mid-summer.

Great adventure we slept at the spout cave and we summit tafel berg the next morning and head to the Arch and overnight there and head back down the wide cracks to sandriff
