If you click "SHOW MORE" in the description above your be able to see Links to the Tools 🔧🔨🔧 I use. Also Clickable Chapters📋 📙 throughout the video and other Links 🎬 that may be of interest. I've had a few viewers request where they can buy the tools they see in some of my videos but it's not very clear that the "SHOW MORE" tab has a lot of information in that may be of interest. Admittedly the amazon links are associated with me and I would earn a small commission which helps towards keeping the channel funded.
How do you like those tires? I am considering getting a pair for my commuter. Are they holding up well vs punctures? Thanks in advance, and I really enjoyed the vid.
I wouldn’t use any other tyre. They saw me cycling down to -18 in winter and I never came off. They have caught the odd puncture but I always used slime. I swear by them. Best tyres out to commuting. They should pay me for advertising lol
French tire sizes A-D don't mean anything anymore. It's a useless designation. Just stick to the ETRTO number and you'll be fine. Running these same tires (47-622's) on my Urban warrior(a DIY E-bike). Just looking around at video's of other people to see if they like them as much as I do. :)
Cool, EXACTLY the same tire that I, after many thoughts and look around at other tires, in the end chose. It seemed to go easy for you but I have a small hell to get the tire to sit exactly on the middle, the bead does not rest where it should at almost half the tire and its not really possible to get it to stay there either. And the tire I hade was not as stiff as the one you hade seemed to be.
@@CoatsandGaiters It is correct for the wheel, the tire is only 2 mm less in width and the rim has the hook thing on the inside for the tire. I got the back tire now quite right to 95% which is good enough for me but the side reflecting band on the front tire is noticeably off half the tire, will mess this a little more later on since my fingers hurt now.
just wondering the inflated width on these. I have read the top contact 2 in 35c actually measure at 37mm when installed. also, they are supposed to have the best pucture proof rating second to the contact plus in the continental lineup. i see you said you had a few punctures with them. what did you run over? thanks
I think the Giant Revolt was made to be a bit agile and fast compared to some other models so thinner tyres would be required if that was their goal. I had a Giant AWOL before but cannot recall what size those tyres were. That was purely touring so I would expect them to be a bit bigger.

Is the tyre correct for the wheel as sometimes the sizes can be a bit of a nightmare with different types of wheel.

I used to get thorns frequently come September when the farmers cut the hedges. Those tyres were amazing and I no longer have a bike.
How is it that Giant gravel bikes come with skinnier tires than their hybrid bikes?? My Giant Escape came with 700c38c.

Make it wooden with the help of the Stodoys instructions.
Had to look that up lol. I remember doing wood work now using instructions like that. They were good.
@@CoatsandGaiters They are excellent I think! Best wishes ️👍
