- Clip showing the 1st and 3rd boss battles against the Fiends Lich and Kraken. I honestly found the boss battles to be pretty easy in this game (except for in the Dawn of Souls optional dungeon), just buff up Fighter/Ninja and let 'em have it. I'm sure the PSP remake was nerfed from the original though. Enjoy!

The PSP version is an absolute masterpiece, and I'm glad I spent days of my life playing it.
This theme goes hard! Still hold up !
I love how they made pixel remasters for the earlier games when the PSP version of this 2 and 4 collection are superior. even GBA 5 and 2 are better.
The point of the pixel remasters is to get as close to the original experience as possible, while providing the games with a fresh coat of paint much easier access to them, not everyone has access to the psp or gba games and many don't want to or know how to emulate the games.

@@CrimsonJailbird Stranger of Paradise put a twist on the Final Fantasy 1 story by serving as a sort of origin story, though strictly speaking even saying this kind of spoiler-ific. Thought really not anymore than has already been spoiled by those two names being given to you, if you ever encountered them in the game.
@@peterjumper1039 I just read a bit on the wiki since I don't really mind spoilers that much. I gotta say, it's a nice spin on the story. I've always wanted a FF1 remake so I guess Stranger of Paradise is worth trying out.

@@CrimsonJailbirdyeah, in the begining stranger of paradise seems like it's just an ff1 remake. And in a way it is. But at the end it's revealed to be a different iteration of the time loop. Same general story, but different finer details. And it reveals the origins of the fiends
Always found it kinda confusing how they split two different themes for the 1st and 3rd.
It's one for 1&3 and another for 2&4 so that the same theme doesn't play twice in a row
Brain Lord on SNES does the exact same thing, 2 boss themes between 4 bosses total

watching dissidia sometimes and wonder how squall beats WOL . A warrior of a legend by Lukahn vs 1 soldier boi
WoL were still stronger than Squall, in dissidia wol fought almost 4 chaos warriors while squall only has 2 or 3 if i remember and In 12th cycle, squall were among who was taken out of conflict while WoL is the last one

Oh man I had a great time with the gba port of the first two games when I was a kid, and my god when I eventually played the psp remakes they even better, can’t wait to play the remasters on my switch🥰. My dad actually played the snes versions of 4,6. And mystic quest all the way to FFX
