Great to see you visiting Tahoe. I started boarding a couple years back and your videos have really helped my riding. I can’t wait for you gf’s burton Feelgood video tomorrow, as I have been eyeing that board.
I bought one of the first pairs of the step on here in Luxembourg and had quite some time to ride this season. After finally trying them on the mountain not just the snowhall I can say that they are absolutely stunning and work 99% perfectly fine! I encountered just one problem when I decided to take a break while riding through some powder... if you don‘t have a good surface it‘s a pain in the ass to get back in the binding and ready to go again. If you don‘t have a resort in your area but just a snowhall I totally recommend the step on system, because you can just jump out the lift in your bindings and off you go.
I'm 14 and I've been skiing for many years but your videos have been making me want to learn to snowboard so bad. I already can ski well but I just have a hard time doing tricks and i feel like it would be easier on a snowboard but I don't want to take a long time learning to snowboard and not get the hang of it
Ben rusch I recommend just going for it. Take a lesson your first time, and you’ll catch on really fast thanks to your years of skiing. I just started snowboarding and it’s quickly become my favorite hobby.
Kevin glad to hear your back at whistler it's been snowing like crazy in the north west. You have to try the burton flight attendant highly recommended!!
Man, heading to NorthStar tomorrow. Missed you guys by a couple of days. Hope you are feeling better Kev and maybe I’ll head up to Whistler this winter as it’s not looking that good here in Northern Cal. 😒
Damn I wish I'd went to Laughing Planet while you guys were here! That's a great place. Tim, the owner, is really passionate about the jazz community in Reno and hosts a Jazz Night every Wednesday, performed by university students and faculty. Would have loved to run into you both.
Joze con Zeta woahhh that's crazy! Haha because I'm from Bellingham area too ( Mount Vernon) And I always go to Stevens pass because that's where my friends go and because of the park but I'm going to baker soon!
North Star has a very villa theme to it and it feels like a home, great environment to be in, but it’s really pricy. I think it’s like $115 a day for a lift ticket
What size boots did you end up trying? Same as your Ione that you had previously? Wondering cause I have size 8 Ion leathers, but when I tried the 8.5 Ruler Step On Boots they actually felt rather snug.
Just watched a few reviews and theirs been a few comments about the pinky toes feeling a bit squished. That would suck if you had that every time you rode. Is there anyway round that ?
aye thats whats up im from md and the snowboarding here is shit but i come to cali almost every winter to shred northstar and squaw with my uncle and cousin
Love my step ons!! Big fall today... thankful for total body protection!! Doesn't keep me from being sore, but (mostly) keeps me from breaking bones etc.
I’m having the same foot pain issues with my Photon Step On boots. There’s a pressure point that irritates the head of the fifth metatarsal bone, just behind the baby toe on my left foot. They’ve been heat molded, I’ve got 27 days on them and the boot still hurts to wear. Started heating them with a boot warmer before riding and that seems to help.
Hey Kevin I recommended The Nugget for a burger during the live chat on Monday, but I guess that would have been mostly for TJ since I don't think The Nugget knows what "vegan" means. It is hella greasy spoon diner lol. The burgers are great though and come served on a huge platter of fries.
I hit my head last week. I got lucky. The snow was soft and it was sort of a rolling impact. I did not have a helmet. I bought one immediately. I was looking at them to begin with. Took my hat and goggles clean off. Was this hit hard enough to be it for this helmet? I have a sandbox also and was curious what the threshold is for the helmet to be done. They say good for only one serious hit.
not too sure on those Step Ons...Ummm did anyone notice that Danny Ds boot popped out using them during his Dew Tour Contest..when he was asked about it, blew it off to protect...
Straps brake too but to brake both straps and have your leg flopping around that I have never seen don't think I would trust them at this point for pro level riding
Swoop_ SVT terje had to wear them for the video as did most of the burton team to promote them ex. Darcy sharpe had to post some insta wearing them but he’s right back to his malavitas
It’s comforting to know that this crap tech never took hold on an already mentally challenged customer base. Durf surfers don’t need any help hurting other riders.. glad Burton’s death traps went bust
4:22 The shot was too good.
Great to see you visiting Tahoe. I started boarding a couple years back and your videos have really helped my riding. I can’t wait for you gf’s burton Feelgood video tomorrow, as I have been eyeing that board.
Great cinematic technique at 2:59 with TJ entering into camera from the right.
Love your videos! I rode the burton Step Ins for 19 years. Glad to see Burton bring them out again.
Wth TJ and Kevin make it look so easy
Glad to hear you're both alright, thank god you had helmets on. I've crashed with one and with out one and can say it makes a huge difference!
Awesome vid, love seeing other parts of your travels! TJs burrito was thicker than my arm 😲
I was just at Northstar 2 weeks ago. Went 3 days. My first time snowboarding. So much fun.

Max Reding snowhall in Amneville France?
Reno! Glad you had fun in my town!
Just finished assembling my step ons on my board, friday im gonna be on it. :D
Cant wait.
Oh man, that fall really didn't look that bad on camera, I thought you were just gonna get up and continue riding. Good thing you're feeling better :)
I had the same problem with the outside foot pain on my Ruler step ons. Got the liners heat molded and that helped some...

CarnivorXplant awesome. Thanks for the advice
Whistler is epic rn, can't wait for the vids
Kevin glad to hear your back at whistler it's been snowing like crazy in the north west. You have to try the burton flight attendant highly recommended!!
It’s good to be back! Will check it out!

Good thing you had your Sandbox!
When it comes to board waxing on longer trips, do you take your kit with you, or just get a local shop to wax it?
Hey Chris! I’ll do waxes and repairs before and after. Actually just picked up my boards today from a tuning.
Sick cross ranges. The deep water lens is dope. I work for Oakley if I can ever get you a new pair of goggles or something lemme know 🙏🏼
Ouch Nasty crash. Hope TJ and Yourself are all good!
Thanks! Recovering well!
Damn I wish I'd went to Laughing Planet while you guys were here! That's a great place. Tim, the owner, is really passionate about the jazz community in Reno and hosts a Jazz Night every Wednesday, performed by university students and faculty. Would have loved to run into you both.
instablaster...
Great video ! Absolutely immerged in the scene, DAMN I can't wait to go boarding .. 6 days left for me :D :D
When are you guys coming to hit Snoqualmie Pass or Mt. Baker? Would be sick to join!
Joze con Zeta everybody always be saying Snoqualmie? Stevens is just so much better imo
It is, but I have easy access to Snoqualmie and a place to stay over in Bellingham.
Joze con Zeta oh. Baker would probly be the best tho anyway
Joze con Zeta woahhh that's crazy! Haha because I'm from Bellingham area too ( Mount Vernon) And I always go to Stevens pass because that's where my friends go and because of the park but I'm going to baker soon!
Snowboarding there looks so much fun.😮
North Star has a very villa theme to it and it feels like a home, great environment to be in, but it’s really pricy. I think it’s like $115 a day for a lift ticket
Monstercat 1181 115? Thats impossible man wtf
S Moors not really, if you go to the village it makes sense, the place is nice asf
S Moors it costs $2k a night to stay in the village, making that $115 seem cheap
Monstercat 1181 way overprized with 2k i go snowboarding 3 weeks in Italy
have you heard about the recall for the bindings? its on burton's website
What size boots did you end up trying? Same as your Ione that you had previously? Wondering cause I have size 8 Ion leathers, but when I tried the 8.5 Ruler Step On Boots they actually felt rather snug.
Aye Laughing Planet is fire, I got a burrito from there today in Portland
Danngg how did you not hit up Kirkwood !!!
Just came back from a snowboard trip... It dumped nonstop 5 out of the 8 days we had a pas. What a bummer!
When did you guys come to Reno?
Damn! You should of went to mount charalstion, I live in vegas and that’s where I snowboard
have fun and be safe
That’s my homie Tony G ☝️☝️
Want to hear more thoughts about the trick pony! TJ give us that review man
I went to northstar around that time and there was way more snow than that
Thanks for saving the vegan part of the vlog till the end 😂😛 jk. Good video!
Yo!!! Come to mount rose tomorrow it would be awesome to meet you guys!
you should be in whistler right now! it's dumping over 200cm this week
Will there be a review on the trick pony from TJ?
I love snowboarding
Hey TJ, how’s about a review of the Trick Pony .
Will you guys be doing Park City anytime in the future?
How did you like the photons vs the rulers?
Would step ons be good for non park riding too? Both reviews have been in the park.
Steven Ercolani Yes, the step ons are good for non park riding.
Just watched a few reviews and theirs been a few comments about the pinky toes feeling a bit squished. That would suck if you had that every time you rode. Is there anyway round that ?
So I’m looking at get a full set up I do a lot more carving then anything what do you think would be an ideal set up
Probably a lathe, those are good for carving and stuff
FreeRangeLemon They're great for machining too😉
Donek ultra wide Knapton twin with so burton photons and cartels carving heaven!
Hey, what go pro settings did you use. Frames, res???
How many years of snowboarding to get to this level ?
I was there yesterday (saturday), There was much more snow.
OMG. I WAS JUST AT NORTHSTAR THE PAST FEW DAYS.
Try a tamedog on the step on bindings
whAT did you guys think of the trick pony?
aye thats whats up im from md and the snowboarding here is shit but i come to cali almost every winter to shred northstar and squaw with my uncle and cousin
Yall need to do all the videos together. Its like batman and robin.
@3:31 Like a boss Lol
My boy tony Ghisleta made it in the video🤣

any updates on the reviews burton step ons?
Will try to get a few day with step ons this season!
@@SnowboardProCamp great. Looking forward to the updated reviews
Love my step ons!! Big fall today... thankful for total body protection!! Doesn't keep me from being sore, but (mostly) keeps me from breaking bones etc.
Kevin,
so were you wearing a wrong size step on boots?
is that the only reason why your pinky toes were hurtig??
I’m having the same foot pain issues with my Photon Step On boots. There’s a pressure point that irritates the head of the fifth metatarsal bone, just behind the baby toe on my left foot. They’ve been heat molded, I’ve got 27 days on them and the boot still hurts to wear. Started heating them with a boot warmer before riding and that seems to help.
I switched to a slightly thicker sick and it went away
I had to buy 1 size bigger than I normally buy and it doesn't make any inconvenient pressure.
How do they work in pow?
That will be the next test!
What’s pow
Powder. Fresh, untouched snow.
i see you went to anywhere to snowboarding so can i ask u where do u live? and i'm a big fan of your ^_^
Hey Kevin I recommended The Nugget for a burger during the live chat on Monday, but I guess that would have been mostly for TJ since I don't think The Nugget knows what "vegan" means. It is hella greasy spoon diner lol. The burgers are great though and come served on a huge platter of fries.
Kevin, saw you today at Ohyama.
Best Ramen in town! Next time say hi!
Yeah you were eating so didnt wanna bother you. I was with a red jacket and green pants
If I’m 6’ and 185lbs. What’s a good size board for park riding?
i'm 5'7 weigh 150, is 152 a good board for me or 154 wouold be better?
I live here and I’m sad I didn’t see you
I’ve heard the pinky toe pressure feedback from several reviewers now
Glad to see you’re ok bro, how’s Chris?
Thanks man! Chris is on his road to recovery and will be back better than ever!
What happened to Chris?
OneShotWill he hurt his knee
Whats up, bell notification squad! 😆
I hit my head last week. I got lucky. The snow was soft and it was sort of a rolling impact. I did not have a helmet. I bought one immediately. I was looking at them to begin with. They say good for only one serious hit.
You should have a helmet no matter what you idiot. If you had hit a tree you would probably be dead. Helmets save your life.
No helmet keeps you humble. Only gappers wear helmets. Don't be a bitch
FreeRangeLemon loser
kevin is extra stoned at the end
50 million views? Which video?
snow there looks scary weak....just check out the sides of the trails...rocks n dirt....
not too sure on those Step Ons...Ummm did anyone notice that Danny Ds boot popped out using them during his Dew Tour Contest..when he was asked about it, blew it off to protect...
Dennis Lebeau People will get hurt sooner or later...
Straps brake too but to brake both straps and have your leg flopping around that I have never seen don't think I would trust them at this point for pro level riding
I need to hit up Whistler buy Canada wont let me in with a DUI on my record
Go to the bar ask for Aj. Say his cuzzo ton sent you👍
I wonder why I haven’t seen any of the pros wearing them. Except Terj.
Swoop_ SVT terje had to wear them for the video as did most of the burton team to promote them ex. Darcy sharpe had to post some insta wearing them but he’s right back to his malavitas
ps Copper Mountain is waking up!!
So you’re going to ride Step Ons on regular basis from now, right?!
Isn’t good to see the snow only on the pist.. (i’m from Venetian Prealps, Italy)
Sam Davis finalmente un altro italiano su questo canale
Bella! uno dei migliori che ho visto fin'ora
Sam Davis megliori canale per glo snowboard!
Nice
It’s comforting to know that this crap tech never took hold on an already mentally challenged customer base. Durf surfers don’t need any help hurting other riders.. glad Burton’s death traps went bust
nasty fall!
I never trust a product before watching your review on it.
Could you twerk and snowboard at the same time?
Have you ever shadowed any CASI exams? i swear you look like the guy who was shadowing my examiner.....
No, but I’ve been told before that there’s an instructor/examination with a beard in Whistler that looks like me.
Throw up the bloopers
That was a hard fall? ... hmm
