Great video! I was really surprised of all the stuff at this store . . . probably a little higher prices than what I thought, but at least you can find stuff I thought I wouldn't be able to. thanks for sharing!
Great job! Love YooHoo is back 😉 I learn something new every-time you do a video. Thanks. Been in that store so many times but never really ventured over to the sushi area. Cool! 😂. Learning this a little late though as our 2 months are up next week & heading back to Penticton. Until next October! Cheers!
Nice tour of a Mexican gringo store. Lots of stuff, we could spend (waste maybe?) a lot of time wondering through there. I imagine the fresh produce and meat is probably cheaper in the colonial part of town. Cheers 🍻from Southern Ontario. Oh, btw, I hit the bell 🔔
HI and thanks for watching! Yes prices are less on the Colonia side of town. There are also many fruit and vegie stands around and The produce is so fresh.
We have been vacationing in puerto Morelos for at least 15 years at El Cid . We have watched the town grow and develop. We love visiting Mexico! We will be there on the 18th. Maybe we will see you in town. Thanks for the information that you share. It has been helpful.
Hey guys, that Chedraui looks great! How does the one in La Colonia compare in terms of prepared foods and fresh meat & seafood? This is the best Chedraui walk thru I've seen, good job! When do you typically head back to Canada? Thanks 👍🏼😁. ☮️❤️😎
Hi Pam. We head back the beginning of April, but will be coming back to PM on November. The La Colonia Chedraui has all the same groceries, but it doesn’t have the big deli or restaurant area. No wine dispenser 🥺 It doesn’t have as much touristy items either. Thanks for watching
thank you so much for creating this video! We will be in PM in February staying in a condo for the first time. We were worried about the shopping experience. Do you find that the Chedraui on the Colonia side is cheaper to shop at or the same prices?
I was assuming things are cheaper here. It’s same prices I pay in Maryland and relative to people’s income in Mexico these prices are high for someone local I’d think.
This is the local store where locals shop. If you stick with local products made in Mexico, the prices are better. We found the prices to be at least 1/2 of what we pay in Canada. Thanks for watching!
@@dartyadventures yes I saw that one too. It's so great to see all this info. Definitely helps a lot. I'll send you guys a dm. Keep on making great vids 😃
Hi ! This is a great video- I enjoy all of your videos. Have you done one on places to stay For an extended period Of time? I will be heading there Next fall /winter. I'm a woman traveling By myself . If you've done a video already Just please reply and I'll look it up Thank you.
You’d want to join some Facebook group pages of Puerto Morelos. Put your request out there of what you’re looking for. I’d suggest staying in a gated complex because they all have pools. We’ve done reviews on 3 different complex. El Faro, Palma Real and Palma Grand. ua-cam.com/video/gwy1v8hl3x4/v-deo.html

We do most shopping on Colonia side. But port side has bagels in their bakery 😊
