Milky or lactonic fragrances are the best! 🥛 I thought I didn’t like gourmands until I discovered these, then Nutty 🌰 and now Vanilla. 🧁 Sometimes you have to ease yourself into fragrances that aren’t normally your type. 😍
I'm too frightened to try Xerjoff's 'Naxos' after being totally nauseated by Oesel and Alexandria II: it's not a case of 'I don't really like them on me', it's more like 'they make me feel like chundering, I have to scrub them off NOW.' Sospiro, Xerjoff and Casamorati have some GOOORRRRRGEOUS fragrances but despite the enthusiastic recommendations, I just don't think I can go there with Naxos. I wonder what other fragrances people would say it smells like? Hmm. Thanks for this charming video.

My favorites would be Gucci A Midnight Stroll and Hortus Sanitatis. Both are gorgeous. The mid to dry down of Hortus Sanitatis is in a similar ballpark as Creed Royal Oud but more modern. Give it 10-15 minutes, that opening is rough but you'll keep coming back to it. A Midnight Stroll...that's just a wow

My fragrance discovery of the year is definitely the house Xerjoff. Although I knew that the house exists for a while, I’ve been introduced to its fragrances this year and this year ended up being very expensive. I ordered Alexandria II, Golden Dallah, Apollonia, Starlight and Uden which are all fantastic, however Alexandria II sits a bit above the others. La capitale is another one that I’m looking forward to add to my collection next year.

If you want a more oriental Musc Ravageur, check out YSL Sleek Suede. The spice is similar but it has cacoa instead of that musky orange, but it still has the vanilla. Incense around the composition with an undertone of tobacco and a hint of a western oud. Do try first because it's not for everyone

This year was a very good year for me, perfume wise. I've discovered some incredibile houses and some staples în my collection. Masque Milano with Tango and Mandala, Maison Francis Kurkdjian with BR540 extract and Oud Satin Mood extract, Xerjoff with Dolce Amalfi and 1888, Atelier des Ors with Lune Feline, Tom Ford - Plum Japonais, sadly discontinued. Yeah, so a very good year discovering niche parfumerie.
Same for me Cristina, im happy you did ! There are still so many things to discover, its very exciting !
Now you make me wanna discover Naxos 😂. I discovered many fragrances this year, but some notable ones were Libre (I started a job and needed to be a badass, this gave me that feeling 😜), Rouge Malachite and Bouquet Ideale. Happy holidays, love! 😘🎄

Agree with several of your choices, but i own only Rehab from your list, from By Killian - Rolling in Love. Have you tried Chanel’s Le Lion? I’d love to have your opinion on that one.

I made my entire family, my friends, my colleagues even my neighbors smell Musc Ravageur and they all disliked it! Without exception! And myself i have a love/hate relationship with it: sometimes i find it fabulous and sometimes it just reminds me of cat pee...🙄

Pourtant je connais les parfums dit de « Niche » mais là je pense !! Que je vais faire une pause , et acheter du Sephora, ou Nocibe et !! bien entendu mon parfum Italien qui lui sent donc tient !!! J’ai peut être une peau anormale 🤣🤣et un nez sans trous 😂😷mais c’est la déception !!! j’ai vite acheté du Frédéric Malle ! 2 !!!! Vetiver oriental et le Carnal !.... bises à toi et passe de très très bonnes fêtes de fin d’annee !!! 💋👍👍

Ah mince cest dommage moi jai une tenue exceptionnelle avec celui ci. Apres pour moi la tenue ce nest pas mon facteur principale dachat et je prefere un belle creativite et qualité d'ingrédients qune longue tenue. Et également cest tres subjectif. Je te conseille de toujours essayer sur ta peau si tu as une peau qui ne tient les parfums !

Kikou Si justement elle tient très bien les parfums !!! Mon mari est venu vers moi et m’a dit !!! En riant !! C’est bon !!! Pourquoi ? Oh Zuttt !!! excuse moi Chéri !! J’ai essayé sur moi !! Et faut avoir le nez sur le bras !! Ce n’est pas parce que je travaille pour un parfumeur , que j’ai mes préférences !! Mais avouons ce qu’il est avouable ma belle !!! Il ne sent PAS !!! enfin c’est pour ma pomme 😔 ! J’ai expliqué à mon mari comment c’est fait !!! Et il a compris !!! Ouf !!!
