- Driving through Olde Towne Moline (18th to 5th Avenue via 10th Street) in June 2015. Quite impressed by all the beautiful houses, most of which are nearly 100 years old...
Grew up in Moline. Love the sound of driving on brick roads. I remember when they put the asphalt down when I was little and how strange it sounded to ride my bike down the streets after that.
You guys literally drove rite by my old house when you were going down 10 th street and crossed 14 th ave. Wow, I moved away July 1986. Ironically, I’m going back up tomorrow for a couple of weeks to visit.
The little Salon you were talking about on the corner 10th street and 14th ave I grew up rite across from it 921 14 th ave. As long as I can remember was always a Salon of some kind and I believe it still is.
I was born in Moline in 1948. You went right by my house on the corner of 12th Avenue and 10th Street.
I was born there 62 years ago I am now living in Florida 🙄 I really miss my home town maybe I will plan a trip to come visit and head down to Chitown also. GO BEARS GO CUBBIES!! 😁
My auntie and uncle lived in moline for 9-10 years, very green and beautiful! Unlike California where it’s dry and polluted.

Your more likely to be shot in the hood of rock island then moline you cant judge a town because of others moline is a really nice town great place to grow up i did and ive never been shot i use to walk those streets daily i was waved at offered a hello your judging and thats not nice how would you like to be judged maybe you should have someone else drive you around get more then one's option thats all this country does anymore is judge not everyone is lucky enough to enjoy houses or a car ride hell even food just cus the person looks diffent then you you think your gonna get shot its all good rhink what you want ypur going to any way really sad tho

Please slowly drive by 1106 9th st moline we hear the people that live there have the orginal table from the movie " Alice in Wonderland", pretty cool. And someone else said; they once was the owners to California Tan a Suntan Lotion.
The home has a in ground pool... circle driveway & sits on a corner. The home is a Coffee Cream in color.
