Highland Park needs to go back to its original scotch - it went from being my favorite to just not worth it when JWB has more taste. I miss the old HP, salty and rich. Their dozens of varieties at triple the price mostly do not sell in the US.
Still a respectable distillery, but less reliable a buy for the cost. HP12 was very good at about $40-50 US dollars per bottle, back in the old days. But nowadays, good luck finding it for less than $60-70. They’ve replaced the more affordable expressions with NAS bottles with over dramatic Viking imagery.
In Vancouver Canada we get the 12 year old version of this in a refill butt for the same price...
I was just watching a 2014 video and you were wearing the exact same shirt! Gotta love my man Horst!
He doesn't age at all either
