Oh Sherrie how fun! My daughter is now 8 and always enjoys bringing a notebook and such on small car trips etc..such a great way to contain it all in one place. I will be on the search for a cute bag :-) Thanx for sharing..WooHoo Peter Walsh...I'm loving this series!

Nailed it! Awesome... going to go look for one of these for my daughter... though she brings along larger paper.. but we have that all in a nice thin package holder... but wow... what a great idea!!
This is a great idea to organize a planner travel kit too!
I have something similar in my car for my grandchildren. I also bought two Lisa Frank clipboards w/storage, so they have something to hold their drawings and paper. They can clip their paper to the board and it's like having a travelling desk.
I keep markers and colored pencils in a holder like the one above. It is definitely great to have things that entertain them when travelling!

Wow, I cannot wait to have grand kids and travel with them! What a GREAT idea! Can you bring the large scissors like she has, on a plane? I would think they wouldn't be allowws to bring those.....Your thoughts?
Carole Fortenberry No, you can't. Try precutting paper etc before the trip.

Copics?! I wouldn't recommend those for anyone that isn't at least in their teens.
she said her daughter is 11 so she is responsible enough for copic markers .OK
My ill sis makes beautiful art pieces with copics she's 9 and she makes them like they are never used

Ellie Taylor They are about $8 per marker and they are an artist quality supply. They are really quite expensive alcohol based markers.
Cupcake Power I have a fairly large set of copics myself, and I'm just saying they are very expensive and not meant for young kids.

If she wants to use copies , let her 😡 its her choice. Also, she is old enough to use them. Geez stop hating on a sweet mom and 11 year old. Go pick on someone your own age 😡

how old are your kids are because Copic markers are for professional people like me 😇
Itzel Orozco You don't need to be a professional artist to use Copic Markers, these markers aren't even permanent. If they think she is responsible enough and it can encourage her to draw more then I see no problems for her to own a bunch of copic markers.

Itzel Orozco you probably aren't even skilled at art you need to practice and have skill and also good artists don't brag. I don't even have copic markers all I ever used is crayola markers and my dad's prismacolors. I wish one day I could get copic though
