I went to a Tech House party for the first time a few days back and Woow! The music the people... I have no words for what i felt that night, its something you have to experience. I'm in love!!
What up Mark, i was at work today listening a bit to your mix and i couldnt finish it because my boss came back haha. But now, i can finish it before i go to party :) another amazing mix dude, never dissapointed!
Hey man can u help me? I got 2 cdj 850 and when i try to autoloop some part of a song in a tech house mix it always messes up... After 10 seconds its not beatmatched anymore and sounds like shit! Do i have to make some special thing to make it perfect beatmatched? Cheers martin
Martin Lechner sounds like the songs you are playing have different bpm's. put the tempo on both players at +-- 6 and get to the lowest or highest bpm of your choice ( lets say at 125, you set it to the highest possible like 125,9x, just before it jumps to 126 and do the same on the other player) then you put one in autoloop and manually adjust the beats with the jogwheels, it should beatmatch just fine.
Philip.Wagner thanks buddy! i work with percent.. i add 0,80% for each bpm do make it slower or faster (my cds just show me the real numbers of bpm 125 and not 125,0) so you think if i add 0,75 % it should work? (0,75 - 1,5 - 2,25 - 3,00 and so on)? cheers!
Martin Lechner i got 2 cdj 900´s, so our players are mostly the same. i also only get full bpms like you said. the percentage doesnt really matter, you only have to set your tempo to MT (Master Tempo for better sound without distortion) and make it the most sensitive (-+6, right over MT) so you have 0.02% steps. then simply set it to the highest 125bpm, you do that by going up with the speed until right before it shows 126bpm. do the same on the other player and they should have the exact same speed now. all you have to do now is allign them :) hope that helped a little more
Martin Lechner CDJ 850's do not have quantize.. they never will loop properly.. you will always have to adjuster the jog wheel while looping.. i used to own a pair... sad to say the looping sucks on the 850's... the cdj 900 has quantize phillip so you can not compare your cdjs to his. to get perfect loops you must have a quantize enabled cdj (cdj 900, 900 nexus, 2000 and 2000 nexus only)
