I spent a lot of time in Thailand when I was stationed on Okinawa with the Marines 2009 to 2011. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel all over the country, for close to 3 years, on a regular basis. We weren’t allowed to drive ourselves, and relied on contracted vans with drivers. “Chen” was my favorite driver. He invited me to his home once. It was such an honor to meet his beautiful family. The hospitality was amazing. I miss my Thai friends, especially my Thai Marine Corps friends
Thank you so much for sharing your story Captain! It sounds like you had some amazing experiences in Thailand, and it’s incredible how those bonds and memories last. The hospitality here is something truly special, and it’s awesome to hear about your connection with Chen. We hope you get a chance to visit again someday and reconnect with those good memories and friends!
An engineer and dentist, one of the most perfect combo's i reckon, ive spent alot of time out at sea, got the engineering side covered, dentistry not so much ha ha ha trust old pliers do the trick though, keep up the awesomeness you pair of gorgeous buggars ❤
OMG 😱, W.O.W you guys ‼️ Just a lovely episode of being human, making friends and loving people. What good ambassadors you both are. 🎉🎉🎉 😊 See you next time. ✨🌊💨⛵️🏝️👙🌞✨💕
Oh my goodness seeing that snake crawl in that hole and yes you are right it could crawl up the sugar scoop and right into the boat oh my lord no. Well it is a water snake so hopefully if it hopped in your boat it won't stay there long it'll want to get back in the water. Lol
Ahhhhh that dinner made my mouth watering. In the 1980s i did a round trip in thailand and sorunding counyrys. Yes ewen the not safe ones. Not on any turist airias. And can feal the taste of all home made food i ate. I can umderstund why you was diable to mowe 😉🤣 And that snake is cracy poicen. Stay safe. With love from Sweden.
Thank you so much for sharing your story and memories! It sounds like you had quite an adventure exploring Thailand back in the day. I bet that homemade food was amazing! And yes, some of those snakes are definitely something to watch out for. Stay safe, and sending love back to Sweden!🇸🇪
@@DawnHunters yea that trip was crazy. I was in to kambodja on the red kemeres it was more then scary. Lot if scary and fun memorys. But all food is something i tock with me home. I learned to make some genuin thai and bumesisk food. Smode saling to you two.
Anything for a quiet life willam 😂.. most sea snakes are backfang venomous snakes so one that small is unlikely to be able to get a grip even if it was larger.. and less fragile. The only small seriously venomous snake i know is the Fere de lance from E Africa..because of its size and no footware it tends to bite on or between the toes. In a few choice places in indonesia you might find the odd komodo dragon swimming past.. as well as sea snakes and occasional others. 🧙🏻♂️
You are very searching in the local community, less in and around your boat and personal well-being, my recommendation is do something about it and ensure that your catamaran is ok
I have watched 6-7 videos I have to say you should trademark the camera falling over lol seems to happen almost every video. Makes me laugh every time.
Hi, Seems heavenly and good to see you two having a great time. Born in 1957, I would like to know your birth date ? For I am a Heinz 57 too. Our experience of life may have some similarities, also a City and Guilds engineer, I did have to be flexible and do many things in life, just curious 👍
Sea snake? Crap. Did you know there venom is 10 times more potent than a cobra? It’s a neurotoxin and can cause death if not immediately treated. Other than that, I’m so jealous of your adventures. Can’t wait for your next adventure.
Yeah, sea snakes are no joke! I didn’t realize I was swimming with something 10 times more potent than a cobra-good thing I didn’t look too tasty that day! 😂 Thanks for the fun fact! Stay tuned for more near-death experiences! 😅
Idk how can u live in the ocean and not like water I believe ur in the wrong living situation if u don't like water chores are always going to be there no matter if it's on land or on the water I wish I had to clean my 50ft cat water line and bottom that would be a treat not a chore lmao people don't know how great they have it .
Jimmy, my dude, you’re clearly the master of water chores! But over here, we’re all about keeping it fun (and dry!). 😂 Next time, I’ll totally invite you over to clean the 50ft cat’s bottom - sounds like you’ve been dreaming of that treat! Iana
Generally speaking thailand is a very conservative country so although you are at anchor you still have people around you, so even if you are nudist - it is respectful to be wearing clothes where Thai people can see you.

Sea snakes slithering onto your boat is about the last thing you think of when sailing into a tropical paradise. André

LEKKER!!!!! Now we know what that means 😂
It was great to see you having a meal with some of the common folk, since you all are UA-cam stars(?). Great job on the video.
Stars? 😂 More like hungry travelers enjoying a meal with good folks! Appreciate you watching, Craig! ❤️⛵️
You may already know this, but if you ever need to clean the scum off of the water line, tidybowl works like a champ 🏆👍wipe on, wipe off 😂🤣👍

Why , wear swim wear? Just asking as a social Nudist.
