We had reservations for August 16th. I was disappointed for sure with the two week notice. We had to do a lot rescheduling airline flights as well as try to find an available resort with the accommodations we requested. I will see if our new choice lives up to our expectations.
@@lanyouree8532 I would love to hear an update of where you choose and what you think of it. We are scheduled to go to Ochi next year and super excited to try another new one to us.
Sometimes pivoting can be difficult, but that’s what happened to us a few years ago and why we ended up in Emerald Bay in the first place. So you never know, it might all turn out even better than expected. I hope that happens for you.
My daughter is desperately trying to rearrange her honeymoon plans. American Airlines will not let her change her flight to somewhere else and, of course, Sandals is NOT cooperating AT ALL! Any suggestions?
Oh goodness! I’m so sorry. This is exactly why people are so upset, and rightfully so. I’m probably not of any help, but when they did this to us a few years ago, they didn’t give my husband any options on the phone until he pressed and pressed. After about an hour and a half phone call with Sandals, they finally realized my husband will not hang up until there is some kind of resolution. As much as I love Sandals, their customer service is one of the worst. I hope someone who sees this can give you some type of guidance to help her get this resolved.
@@velicialusby amazingly, she pushed with American Airlines this morning asking them to simply allow her to use her tickets for another flight elsewhere and she got someone on the phone who worked with her! It cost her a few hundred dollars more BUT American Airlines made the change. It saddens me to think that this is a “thing” but it seems to be. ☹️ Shameful!

Everytime i see "Beaches" i think "Diapers". So this will be Diapers Bahamas... Should have gone sooner dang it
