It's not often that you see another artist taking a Stevie Wonder song and making it their own (in fact, you NEVER see that), but Ed Sheeran accomplished just that in this arrangement and performance. This is just pure musical genius.
You're right. It very rarely happens. Only other person I can think of is Luther Vandross with Creepin'. You can add this one to the list. He was by far the best artist at the Stevie tribute.......other than Stevie of course.
Love his rendition of Stevie Wonders song...him at the tribute was amazing...no matter what he says about the room full of people and their musical experience and talent...he's got it too...he may not have won a Grammy yet but his performances (Grammy/Tribute)proves he's up there with the best and they respect him. I would bet he gained a bunch of new fans just from those 2 shows.
