I had a spot right next to my nose a few months ago …they biopsied… it came back positive for basal cell and then I came back and they removed. You should be fine. I am also 10 years cancer free from having breast cancer 2x in 2010 & 2014. Good luck with it!
My husband has basal cell and had it removed 3 times it came back with a vengeance ..Half of his nose is gone...he is blind in his right eye and just found out it's behind that right eye. He has to start radiation and they have to remove his right eye each time they do his radiation , 5 days a week. Don't wait like he did if signs of it return...

Merry Christmas to all! I hope you take this advice in the spirit it’s intended. Two roosters can not occupy the same henhouse, nature does not allow it. One of them will end up dead or severely injured and I know you don’t want that. If you are set on keeping both you will have to separate them & place some hens with both roosters. I speak from experience on my grandaddy’s farm. Please reconsider your decision. ❤

I disagree with @nursecindy36. I once had several roosters occupy the same coop and space and for the most part everyone got along fine. There were minor squabbles but only a few bigger injuries that required tending to. They all took turns making sure the hens were fed and looked after.

I really don’t think that’s true. It depends on the roosters, the space, the number of hens, lots of things. I know many people who run 2 or 3 roosters with their hens simply because a single rooster can not cover a large amount of hens.

just wanted to say MERRY CHRISTMAS GRANDMA AND GRANDPA DOSS and THE WHOLE DOSS FAMILY ill be keeping you in my prayers grandpa doss sending positive thoughts your way 😊 if you want to keep both roosters you'll have to seperate them and divi up the hens other wise you'll have fighting roosters and the roosters will damage the hens over breeding them it happened to me and i lost 2 hens because of it just some friendly advice from experiance ❤

I’m grateful you are taking your skin care and protection more seriously Ralph I had radiation for breast cancer and the dermatologist had to perform a couple biopsies from my back. Ralph I pray they got everything. I'm thankful it's only skin cancer. It could be so much worse. My hubby is going through chemo for colon cancer. My family always stretched it out and go by age--Each one opens a gift of their choice one by one all around the circle so we can see everything everyone gets --The kids get bored and want to go off and play with their toys eventually--but that is a fun way to do it!
Thanks for the prayers. It’s a tough one this year without my dad. Plus my sis-in-law lost her dad last week. Her family lives in France so she couldn’t go to say goodbye or go to his funeral. She also was the one who took care of my dad the last four years (he lived with her and my brother), and she’d been struggling with my dad’s death and now her dad too. Her mom has dementia and doesn’t understand. We are going over there for lunch tomorrow because she doesn’t want to cancel but it will be finger foods. I had my youngest over Friday night with her 7 and all but the two little ones wanted cash. There’s no real excitement watching them get cash. After we leave my brothers house, we’ll go to my son and daughter-in-law’s house two watch our two little grandkids open their gifts from us. When my mom was alive, everybody went to their house. We had me and my hubby, the four kids plus their families, my sister and her family, my brother and his family and some years my sister flew in from NC. We always had a houseful and I loved it. But it’s all changed now. My oldest will be doing her own thing, my youngest will be doing their own thing, my sister goes to her son and daughter-in-laws house with their little girl so we just don’t see each other and it makes me very sad. The kids say my mother was the glue that kept us together. Well I don’t know if I agree. I’ve tried to be the glue and have everyone come to my house but nobody wants to anymore. So to be honest, I’m not looking forward to the day. I want my family to be with me but they all have their own lives. Fortunately, Christmas is more than just family. It’s celebrating our savior who came to earth as a babe and the true reason for the season. Hopefully I’ll keep my focus on this and try to enjoy the day. But I could use some prayer, it’s my first Christmas without my dad and my sis-in-law Claire really needs prayer. Losing your dad right before Christmas is tough. I do love that you pray for me. In the past year, my Mom passed, a brother passed, and my Dad passed just before Thanksgiving 2023. Things have just sucked. My Mom WAS the glue, and we all, 9 kids, cousins, 2nd and 3rd cousins, used to go to my folks for holidays and big meals. No one wanted to do Thanksgiving, nor CHRISTmas, nor New Years. When my grandparents got killed decades ago, my parent's generation, and all the cousins and everyone, stopped getting together,,and scattered all over the country. Grandma was the glue. I dont feel much this time of year. I do like to make a Happy Birthday, Jesus! birthday cake. All the holidays fell like any other day on my farm. Glad I have my animals to motivate me to get up each morning.

I'm sorry to hear about the skin cancer. I'm in my early 60s, growing up, I never even thought about those things. As a teenager, I even put baby oil on to try to tan. By the grace of God, so far, no issues from sun damage. I pray for a very successful removal and complete healing. Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family.

Icecream scoop is funny, when I had breast cancer, my Dr had to do a second surgery, to get clean margins. So Dr told me she took 3 scrambled eggs worth of tissue total. 4 1/2"years clear. Praise God.

I had basal cell on left lower eyelid. Had it removed. That was in 2011.

Ralph I pray they got everything. I'm thankful it's only skin cancer. It could be so much worse. My hubby is going through chemo for colon cancer. Every day that I wake up & see his eyes open is a gift to me. I truly hope that you, LeaAnn, the boys & their significant others have an amazing Christmas 🎄.

Would be grateful for prayers to get thru this recovery...My energy level is pretty much at bottom of barrel. Toughest thing this 'ol gal has ever gone thru at 76. My family always stretched it out and go by age--Each one opens a gift of their choice one by one all around the circle so we can see everything everyone gets --The kids get bored and want to go off and play with their toys eventually--but that is a fun way to do it!
Thanks for the prayers. It’s a tough one this year without my dad. Plus my sis-in-law lost her dad last week. Her family lives in France so she couldn’t go to say goodbye or go to his funeral. She also was the one who took care of my dad the last four years (he lived with her and my brother), and she’d been struggling with my dad’s death and now her dad too. Her mom has dementia and doesn’t understand. We are going over there for lunch tomorrow because she doesn’t want to cancel but it will be finger foods. I had my youngest over Friday night with her 7 and all but the two little ones wanted cash. There’s no real excitement watching them get cash. After we leave my brothers house, we’ll go to my son and daughter-in-law’s house two watch our two little grandkids open their gifts from us. When my mom was alive, everybody went to their house. We had me and my hubby, the four kids plus their families, my sister and her family, my brother and his family and some years my sister flew in from NC. We always had a houseful and I loved it. But it’s all changed now. My oldest will be doing her own thing, my youngest will be doing their own thing, my sister goes to her son and daughter-in-laws house with their little girl so we just don’t see each other and it makes me very sad. The kids say my mother was the glue that kept us together. Well I don’t know if I agree. I’ve tried to be the glue and have everyone come to my house but nobody wants to anymore. So to be honest, I’m not looking forward to the day. I want my family to be with me but they all have their own lives. Fortunately, Christmas is more than just family. It’s celebrating our savior who came to earth as a babe and the true reason for the season. Hopefully I’ll keep my focus on this and try to enjoy the day. But I could use some prayer, it’s my first Christmas without my dad and my sis-in-law Claire really needs prayer. Losing your dad right before Christmas is tough. I do love that you pray for me. In the past year, my Mom passed, a brother passed, and my Dad passed just before Thanksgiving 2023. Things have just sucked. My Mom WAS the glue, and we all, 9 kids, cousins, 2nd and 3rd cousins, used to go to my folks for holidays and big meals. No one wanted to do Thanksgiving, nor CHRISTmas, nor New Years. When my grandparents got killed decades ago, my parent's generation, and all the cousins and everyone, stopped getting together,,and scattered all over the country. Grandma was the glue. I dont feel much this time of year. I do like to make a Happy Birthday, Jesus! birthday cake. All the holidays fell like any other day on my farm. Glad I have my animals to motivate me to get up each morning.

They removed it and did a biopsy. Thanking God that there wasn't any sign of cancer. The spot is coming back, so thank you both for reminding me to make an appointment with my skin doctor. Grandpa, I am glad that you had your spot checked. I hope that there is no further sign of skin cancer. ❤❤

I'm sorry to hear about the skin cancer. I'm in my early 60s, growing up, I never even thought about those things. As a teenager, I even put baby oil on to try to tan. By the grace of God, so far, no issues from sun damage. I pray for a very successful removal and complete healing. Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family.

Icecream scoop is funny, when I had breast cancer, my Dr had to do a second surgery, to get clean margins. So Dr told me she took 3 scrambled eggs worth of tissue total. 4 1/2"years clear. Praise God.
