I’m not one to comment BUT I took the FCLE trying to study other ways & failed! The second time around I only listened to video 1 & 2 taking notes & passed🥳🥳 Thank you for the video I HIGHLY recommend it ❣️
@@frito2x904 I passed it yesterday, almost all the court case in her second video, how branches work and almost everything she said in this first video
Question. Is this the same one you take in high school? I know that we have a test in high school and if you don’t pass it. You can retake it in college or university. Is this the same one??
Whoever is trying to pass the civicst test right now, please watch all the videos. I took the test three times, the first two times I was studying the wrong material until I got introduced to these videos. These were the only videos that helped me pass the test this past Friday. Study these and you will pass the exam.
I am just starting the videos was recommended it via a reddit post took the test got a 41 out of 80 and taking it again monday also struggling with a clear view on what to study. Did you take the Valencia college one i only ask cause in her video she mentioned its 100 questions my test on campus is only 80 so thats why i ask i saw ur comment was VERY new , i need to pass in order to graduate and i am freaking out since graduation is dec 10
Your videos are the reason why I passed my Florida civic literacy exam today, which means I'm graduating college in May. Thank you very much; it really means a lot.
@@URdesigncreations hello I suggest you use the FCLE quizlet (there's a lot of them) and on my test they asked about abigail adams and Sarah grinsky. Also you need to know the American democracy, us constitution, Supreme Court cases and the 27 amendments. You need at least a 48 out of 80 which is 60% to pass
Please, please, please watch her videos!!!! This lovely lady saved me from not graduating on time. I had 1 day left to pass, and I took it today after rewatching it 3 times before taking the exam and got that big YES at the end!
Watched both of these videos and passed today! These have everything you need. I finished all 80 questions in 30 minutes and only really had to think about 2 or 3 of them. Thank you!
Watched part 1 and 2 of this series last night, took notes and did the practice tests provided... passed the FCLE today in about 15 minutes. Anyone that's got the exam coming up, don't stress. These two videos will make it a breeze.
All I can say is that these three FAU videos helped me to pass the FCLE today 1/17/24. I do not attend FAU, but I am extremely grateful for these videos being public. It's been 4 years since my federal government class. I would just listen to these videos on and off over the last 2 weeks while at my desk job. This morning, I listened to the first 2 videos and then took off from work to take this exam. 80 questions, done in 30 minutes. Passed. Although these videos didn't cover every topic on my test, they sure as heck helped!! Thank you very much for these great videos! I've already recommended them!
I passed my exam on my first attempt on 7/23/23 Praise God!!! I scored an 88%. I definitely recommend all three videos. Make sure you understand the concepts. I took my exam and then went back over it. It took me about 45 minutes. I really appreciate the time and effort put into these videos. Thank you for making them public😊
I just wanted to say it again it was extremely important that I understood the concepts. I didn't know some of the questions, but because I knew who stood for what and what certain concepts meant, I was able to rule out the wrong choices and identify the correct answer.
Perfect crash course for the FCLE! I gave videos 1 & 2 a single view 24 hrs. before the exam and passed with no problem. The tips and tricks for memorizing the Supreme Court cases are genius. I breezed through every one of those questions without blinking. Thanks so much for making all of these resources available to non-FAU students!
Yes, honestly, just those two to actually study... About an hr before the exam I gave a couple quick run-throughs of the 6 min vid on UA-cam by TutorHawk on how to quickly remember the amendments. Just my 2 cents- know your court cases and amendment basics really well if you're not strong on the early history stuff and you're good to pass. Doing that got me 65/80 for very little study time. Good luck!
I took my test yesterday and passed with a 71/80 in 20 minutes!! I watched these videos and really focused on the amendments and court cases and that's really all you need to learn the rest is process of elimination or common sense. Thank you sm for these videos 🫦🫦
I just finished the FCLE about 10 minutes ago (Feb 2024) and I’m driving home writing my brain dump. This exam prep is perfectly tailored to the content of the FCLE. It makes sense too, since the presenter of this video says she took the test multiple times to learn what content to teach. Of the 80 questions, about 30 were case law, and I didn’t see a single “case” that she didn’t talk about in video two. Every single case she teaches is relevant to the test. The “memory cheats” she mentions are also very valuable. MAPP v OHIO = 4 letters = fourth amendment. I really remembered it that way for the test. The remaining 50 questions were mostly asking any of the following: Verbiage or identifying from a historical document Questions about federalism, Supreme Court, and what rulings effected what amendments. It was amendment heavy. Amendments 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 14, 15 were mentioned on my test. So here’s my tip: Get some paper and turn this video on speed 1.5x and just pause it to take notes. Anything she emphasizes, be sure to write. Know the precession of the historical documents, this will help you deduce an answer. Mayflower compact, articles of confederation, common sense, etc etc. know the order. Dates also helped me figure out answers. I knew court cases from 1960’s didn’t have anything to do with James Madison (who lived in the late 1700s). Overall I can confirm that this study guide video is both extremely relevant to the test but also does NOT include any other unrelated info. This instructor sticks very efficiently to what you need to know. Lastly, this test is pretty easy. The questions aren’t tricks and usually 1 of the 4 multiple choice answers is the “obviously wrong” choice. 10/10 thank you to this instructor.
what does not make since is that i am 44 years old, with a BSN, AA and now i am going for my second BSN, so yes i have taken enough of these exam in the pass but dumb DeSantis feels i need to take it again. I even wonder if he himself could pass this exam. BTW is this exam gonna make me better at my job or is it any related to what i am studying for. Is he gonna take my license away if i fail this exam. This is just another dumb thing or DeSantis
Yo I’m also pissed off bc I’m a week away from graduating with my ASN and learn I have to take this even tho I have a previous bachelors with a US federal gov college course fuck Ron desantis
Thank you so much for making these videos and making information like this available to non-FAU students. I had already obtained my Associates during the time that they implemented this requirement. Now I’m pursuing my Bachelor’s and it became a requirement. I failed the first attempt and I looked up questions and study guides everywhere but you helped me the most so thank you! I passed today. 🙌🏾
I just took the FCLE test yesterday and I passed. It took me 30 minutes to finish the test, and I got 66 out of 80 correct. I memorized all the landmark cases and amendments. Those 3 videos helped a lot, there were some questions that weren’t covered in the videos, but if you use the elimination process, you’ll be ok. Watch the three videos, take notes, and do the practice tests, and you’ll be good to go. I’m an international student, so I had to learn everything from the beginning. If you’re a U.S. citizen and took a history class in high school, you’ll be fine. Just make sure you learn the landmark cases and all the amendments, and you’ll do great!
I just took my test and I am very happy because I passed it with the first attempt. I felt I need to leave this comment, so other people don't hesitate to watch these videos to prepare for the test. I watched the part 1 and 2 twice and that was extremely helpful. Thanks 🌝🌞🌝🌞🤩🤩 a lot to this instructor!!
Hi! I just wanted to let those worried about passing know that today, 11/8/2024, I passed the FCLE on the first try! Listen y'all, I am the absolute WORST test taker. I have some of the worst testing anxiety EVER. I fear of ANY test, to the point I fear of taking any proctored exam, ever. This was a challenge, mentally. I watched video 1 and 2 for 3 days straight, and knowing I only do well with repetition, I took her practice tests OVER AND OVER. I genuinely liked learning about the landmark cases; the rest was a bit harder to retain. I walked in at 11:30am this morning to go take the test at the college campus, trying to feel as confident as possible. Not taken a proctored exam in 2 years, I was nervous. I remembered to wear some hand lotion that I could smell on my wrist that could calm me, and my nice comfy shoes and outfit. I faked my confidence, because fake it til you make it! I got assigned to my computer, and started right in. It took me over an hour...(Again, this is coming from someone who has quite literally the worst, severe test anxiety-this won't be the case for everyone). Nearing the last 10 questions, I started to squirm out of anxiety. I was preparing my defeat, because the questions were NOT straightforward, unfortunately, like the practice questions. They were tricky! (biggest pet peeve on exams). Being familiar with these contents is the ~BARE MINIMUM~. If you do well at exams, I perceive you will do well on this, IF you familiarize yourself, REALLY WELL. When I saw the "yes" on the computer, I couldn't really believe it. I was shocked. I walked out of the room, shocked thinking, "Did I actually pass?" I got my scores the night of on my college website. Did I do amazing? No. Unfortunately, I did not do amazing. Did I pass? HECK YES! I can graduate!! Thank you, Ms. VeggieTales for these videos! My confidence in test taking has somewhat been restored. 😄!! Good luck to you all!❤
This video is the sole reason I passed the exam. Highly recommended for a great refresher from high school or simply needing to learn the content. Gave a great foundation for the basis of civic literacy and the knowledge required to pass the exam. Thank you so much for the help!
Just passed thanks to you and these videos! Tips for those about to take the exam… 1) Watch ALL THREE videos. This is the only thing I studied and scored high. 2) Over 50% of the exam were the cases and amendments, and how they relate to each other. Commit those to memory if nothing else. 3) Slow down and read the questions carefully. I almost got tripped up a couple times due to the wording of the exam. 4) About 5/80 questions on my exam were about specific Articles and random quotes that correspond to them, if you feel the need to study for those. Thank you for making these videos to help us! 🤍
PASSED MY EXAM TODAYYY!!!!! So I’m an international student and I watched these workshop videos and I went from knowing almost nothing to SO MUCH! Ah this lady is god sent! She really knows her stuff. Very good at teaching. These workshops are the best way to learn the Supreme Court cases even when asked in different formats on the test. Do your extra reading but with this you will definitely pass.
I took my test today 06/26/24, and I PASSED! Thanks to you! ♥️ I took the test at Palm Beach State College, Boca Campus, and there were 80 questions and you needed 48 to pass. I only used her video to study and kept revising it especially to key points she expresses on. There were only 5 questions on there that I was confused about that I don’t recall was mentioned in the video, but don’t worry, you will still pass. Take your time and read the questions! Some are based on common sense, don’t doubt yourself. At the end of the test, it only tells you if you passed, no set percentage shown. Thank you professor!
I just passed the exam a few minutes ago and solely relied on the first 2 crash courses!!!!! Thank you so much for uploading these videos! Make sure you know all 27 amendments and all the 22 cases and you will do great!!!
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for these videos! I took the FCLE on August 23, 2024, at Palm Beach State College and passed on my first try, all thanks to your Civic Literacy Test Prep series. Videos #1, #2, and #3 were incredibly helpful and made studying so much easier. Keep up the great work!
@@sakeemenelas7936 yes, most of the questions about amendments, supreme court cases … they try to trick you with the questions so be aware of that you read all questions carefully …,. If you want to pass the test just memorize these videos these are really helpful
@@stunningqueen5509oh ok I have to take it at the boca tech building I took notes of the court cases. So it won’t ask for legislative, executive, right and responsibility , system of government, American democracy stuff like that?
After taking this exam right as it rolled out with very little study material out there, this time I stumbled across this video. These videos are insanely helpful and helped me get an 82%. I had a LOT of landmark cases as well as quotes from throughout history asking which amendments were being referred to, so those would be a good thing to fully understand!
@@wearingskirtsdiaryI’m taking mines on that day too lol. why your having doubts. Just make sure you are studying to understand instead of just memorizing. Once u throughly understand all the court cases, trust whatever question comes your way won’t throw u for a loop, you will pass it.
All I can say is THANK YOU! I'm not a FAU student, but these videos helped me passed the FCLE the first time I took it! I watched these videos a dozen times for the month leading up to my exam, and they totally worked! I only used these 2 videos, couldn't be happier! Exam taken 3/5/24, College of Central Florida 🙂
I passed yesterday, I am unsure of my actual score, but it said YES that I passed. I studied for 4 days with little to no knowledge, and it took me 30 mins to complete. Thank you VeggieTales, you are a blessing
I took my civic literacy this Tuesday and passed on the first attempt with these videos!!! I just wanted to say thank you to the professor who made this series @VeggieTales!!!! You're the best, It's really awesome you shared these videos for everyone to utilize. If anyone is about to take their exam, definitely watch all of these videos and take notes. Review the notes for at least 15 min everyday. The landmark court cases are very important to know and understand. Thank you again and I will share these videos with friends taking the exam. 💝
I have never commented on a video before, but I had to comment on this one to say THANK YOU!!! I watched all three of these videos and did the Quizlet studying that was also provided and I PASSED on my first try. These videos and the Quizlet pretty much have the exact same questions as what we’re really asked on the test and I took it today! THANK YOU AGAIN!
Thank you so much for publishing these videos! All of them covered the information that I got tested on, and I was familiarized with all the cases. I took my test today 7/24/2024 and passed!! I studied for 3-4 weeks, on and off, took notes on video 1 and 2, and took multiple practice tests; they helped me to be more familiarized with the content and practice what was learned in these videos. Thank you so much for providing all this info! Good luck to everyone taking the test; you can do it!!
Flawless Prep for the FCLE! Watching videos 1 & 2 just a day before the exam was all it took for me to sail through it effortlessly today. The ingenious techniques for memorizing Supreme Court cases truly worked wonders. I tackled every question with ease, thanks to your invaluable resources. Many thanks for providing such helpful tools!😃
I took the FCLE test and passed on the first attempt after watching just the first and second videos. I was able to clear the test thanks to the helpful content. I highly recommend these videos! I’d also like to add that most of my questions were based on court cases. Thank you so much for the videos, time, and effort that helped me pass on my first try.
Just took the exam yesterday, I studied the first and second video. I watched them probably 2-3 times each and did the flash cards a few times. That’s all the studying I did and I scored an 84%. I appreciate the videos a lot! Good luck everyone ❤️
Hey! The first time I took the test, I failed. Took it a second time after listening to part 1 and part 2 of these videos and passed! Thank you so much. These videos truly helped me and I am so happy! Thanks for the tips !!
As of 5/14/24 I have passed that silly exam thanks to #1 and #2 videos, me taking notes and looking at other quizlets. Had it memorized and I passed it. Thank you so much.
I took my test today, 8/28/2024 and while I do not have my official score, I do know that I passed. All I did was watch this video and part two, and take notes as I went through her video. The way she remembers specific cases in the second video helps a ton. I literally only watched these videos the night before and took my test early the next morning. If you use her study methods, you got this!
Just passed this minutes ago! Watched this and the second part as well and that was it! Started studying Sunday and took the test Monday. Federalism, the 14th amendment and all the court cases in the second part are key! Couldn’t have done it without this review! Thank you
WHEN I TELL YOU VERY HELPFUL. I TOOK MY TEST YESTERDAY AND PASSED. I WAS SO EXCITED. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I ONLY WATCHED 1 AND SAW THE ANSWERS TO 2 BECAUSE I STUDY THE NIGHT BEFORE THE TEST AND THE MORNING OF. IM YELLING LOL BECUASE I PASSED IM HAPPPPPPPPPY But watch 1 and 2 and you will pass with flying colors. A lot of the questions were repetitive. but great videos over all.
LISTEN UP, If you are taking the FCLE, listen to all of these videos and take notes. I started two days ago and passed with her videos. Nothing compares to this when preparing to take this test.
Hello. Just wanted to say Thank you for these videos. I watched them all twice and took my FCLE 8/28/2024 and got 75/80 on my first try. Took me maybe 25 mins. You are truly appreciated!!!
I’m never one to comment but I just got back from passing my exam today thanks to these videos and the two after! You are a life saver and I can’t be more grateful for you and this lovely teacher. I watched these a few times, made a list of all the court cases and amendments, and studied them and I was golden! Took me around 20-25 minutes to answer and review. You are a blessing 🙏🏻
I just took my exam today and passed the first time (Sept. 2024).🙌🏾 Yes, it is due to this video and also parts 2 and 3. I promise you, if you watch/listen all 3 videos, take great notes, you will do well. Waiting on my actual score but I got 60% or more correct. Just as she stated, the amendments and cases are major parts of the exam; understand them, remember them, and you will pass the first time as well. Good Luck!!! Thank for being so thorough in your teaching🎉🎉🎉
This is honestly the only material (along with the second video explaining the 22 landmark cases) that helped me get a 95% on the exam with only two and a half days of studying. There where like 4 questions talking about the Magna Carta and how certain English rules compared to post revolutionary war rules pertaining to the constitution and articles of confederation that weren’t covered here but that’s about it. The grand majority of the exam was based off the 27 amendments and the 22 landmark cases along with which amendments where attached to each/ what rules where emphasized from the ones that did not have an amendment attached to them. These two videos explain in perfect detail what will be on the test and I can’t be any more grateful for finding them before the exam to use for studying and prepping.
I just took the test yesterday and passed with flying colors by studying 3 sets of flash cards from quizlet , taking quizlet test, and watching these videos 🎉a lot of questions about cases and the amendments they are related to and federalism
I just passed the FCLE on my first attempt, and I just came back here to say thanks! I am happy that I found this resource. It was everything that I needed. I started to study just 4 days prior to the exam date, and the resources provided by my school did not contribute to my learning. I would advise everyone to focus on learning about these court cases as well as the 27 ammendments. Video 1 and 2 was everything that I needed. 🙌
I took the FCLE today and I passed. It was my first try. My main source of materials were this video and the second one, some quizlet flash cards, and online practice tests. Thank you for uploading this video series. It tells you most, if not everything you need to know.
I just took the exam, probably wouldn't have passed without video 1 and 2. I took the bootcamp my college offers too before taking it. In addition to all of that, I purchased flashcards from Amazon called "Civics and English flashcards to Study for The US citizenship Test with Official 100 USCIS Illustrated Questions and Answers". With all the material I studied I feel like out of 80 questions on the exam only 20/25 were on the test. I thought I'd go in and be finished in 20 or 30 minutes. Took me 1.5 hrs bc I kept 2nd guessing answers. Passed, but bottom line...you have to know how to apply the amendments/cases etc. Good luck to anyone taking the exam in the near future. You got this!!! 👏
I took my test this morning (June 2024) and I passed. Yipee 🎉 Video 1, 2, and her quizlet were my resources. This professor has a gift for teaching. She breaks down the information in layman’s terms. She actually makes material very interesting. Good luck to everyone who has to take it. You got this. Professor, keep doing the work. You are truly a gem.
i studied all week on this work shop video and 2nd one and i passed the exam this afternoon!! Thank you so much for making it simple and easy to understand now I can graduate this december
I’ve watched parts 1 and 2, studied the study guide from quizlet and I passed the first time!!! I had only studied a total of 4 and a half days and I took the exam last night remotely. Thank you so much for the videos!!!! I will be graduating with my bachelors degree in criminal justice at the end of April 2024! These videos and the study guide from quizlet is highly recommended for preparation. You don’t need anything else.
I am a nursing student who has a family, struggles with health issues, and has zero time to study for anything but my nursing exams. I was stressed about the FCLE. Watched your videos and took the practice quizzes you offered. Passed on the first try!! CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!!🎉
6/28/23 THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH to Jennifer B and veggie tales for creating and uploading these videos to youtube. i watched the three workshops and passed easy. these videos are still 100 percent valid and A LOT of what is discussed here is on the test. make flash cards of everything she talks about, do the workshop quiz's, go to the links she shares, and read other peoples comments on the videos for more information. you will pass this. THANK YOU VEGGIETALES YOU ROCK!
Thank you for these videos. I did the exam today and passed it. I am so grateful and happy that I found you. The majority of what you taught in both videos was on the exam. 😊
@@xclusive8702 for me court cases then amendments. Being multiple choice is huge because some answers are obviously wrong. Heres some other type of questions i remember, they asked about age for members of House, how many year senators in office, a question where the answer was amendment 14. 2/3 vote for senate and house then 3/4 states. Something about Athens and which type of voting for an official that we do that they would. Federalism being balance/sharing powers.
I took it and I passed! it was easy for the most part, it did have lots of questions about the court cases and amendments. thank you for informing me!! @@marcus1707
some questions that did not study for too, but it was easy I finished in 40 mins, I revised again and again making sure the answers I put were correct. again, thank you for the information, I was really nervous and this helped me a lot. @@marcus1707
I never took the exam before and I was looking for the best study guide or video and I can say I passed watching videos 1 and 2. Watch both a couple days before my exam and passed. Thank you so much !!
Thank you for these videos! I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and saw someone refer you on Reddit. I took my FCLE this morning and passed on the first attempt! Thanks again for taking your time to record and post these workshops!
Thank Jesus I came across your workshop videos. I reside in the state of Florida as well yet my home college does not offer civic literacy workshop. Your summaries and explanations you provided were very helpful. I only spent 2 day and half going over the materials and on the third day I took my test and passed first try. Your videos is by far one of the best out there for civic literacy. that beings said, those who are taking this exam up next please know your amendments and supreme court cases as well as the structure of govt and you too should pass with flying colors.
I passed my exam today 8/27/24 also using mainly videos 1 and 2, there were questions about the Articles of Confederation and Northwest Ordinances that I wasn't expecting, but based on what was explained regarding the Constitution, cases, and bill of rights, you can (by process of elimination) find the right answer. Wonderful videos and explanations! thank you so much :)
I just passed my test first time up and I wouldn’t have done it without your all 3 of your exam preps. Please pay attention to the landmark court cases and the Amendments. She is given you the tools necessary to pass, use them. Thank you so much ma’am for your help!
I took the exam yesterday and it was pretty easy! I took me 20 minutes thanks to her videos. I just watched them 2 o 3 times until I memorized almost all of it. Then, I googled “practice exam fcle” and there is a link it says 2023. I did it twice and review the questions I got wrong. I passed the exam with 86%
I passed the exam with 2 videos. Thank you. Be sure to know your amendments and court case as the questions frequently pops up! Got 85% with just 2 hours of studying from the video.
I’ve been watching your videos to prepare for the FCLE and I just took my test and I passed! Thank you so much you don’t understand how much this has helped me!
I cannot stress how helpful this was, even in 2024-2025 this is massively helpful. Just watch the first and second video, take notes on each slide and study those notes and you will pass. In one day I literally watched the 2 videos and took notes, memorized them, then passed the exam the next day. Thank you 🎉
my university didn't inform me i was missing this requirement until my last semester, i watched both your 1st and 2nd video guides and passed the exam today!! thank you so much!! the information is extremely helpful
Just took my exam 3 days ago and passed! thanks for the help. Make sure to be familiar with the court cases and amendments. The wording is very tricky so make sure to take some time re-reading the questions.
Passed on the first try using just the preparation 1&2 these videos WILL be your superpower. Take notes and no matter how silly the memory devices pointed out are they’re really helpful.
This video and #2 video provided me all the information I needed to pass and I PASSED!!! I got a 76/80. I recommend this video and the second video to study. Study your Supreme Court cases and the 27 Amendments. Also the founding documents. And some political terms like popular sovereignty.
I literally watched and studied the 1st and 2nd workshop videos the day before I took the test and passed no problem. The test was mostly about the cases and amendments, these videos were a huge help!!!!
I took the test today 4/30/24 the test mostly focused on the cases, that are on video #2 very easy test. These two videos summarized everything on the test if I did it you can to!!!! All multiple choice !
Thank you so much for this review!! I'm currently in nursing school and when this became a requirement to graduate I was shook to my core. When I took this class it was in 2019 and now its 2023 so I did not recall much from that course though I passed it. But, with these videos I passed my FCLE on the first attempt and I wanted to thank Jennifer B and FAU for it. You're working wonders. Thank you again :)
I just want to thank you for making these videos, they were very helpful and informative. Also the quizlet flash cards came in clutch too! I took the test today and passed on my first try🥳
I was given about 2 weeks to study and this video as well as her preparation #2 is the only reason I passed! I studied these videos and a Quizlet and I successfully passed this morning.
I was a bit worried to take the FCLE being a foreign student and never studied American history or govt but I passed! I was successful because of your videos...thank you.

glad to come across this to study with for this utterly useless waste of time exam their making everyone take this in Fl to graduate college, I dont know the point of making it a requirement but I want it done and over with and I am told these first 2 videos will help pass on first try
I passed my FCLE exam 2 days ago! I watched the 3 videos. Make sure you know the landmark cases very well and which amendment they are tied to. My exam had a few questions on the declaration of independence as well. And a lot of concept questions.
Hey hun, I am so sorry you are struggling with this. My heart absolutely breaks for you coming from someone who struggles to pass exams due to my severe testing anxiety. It is the absolute worst feeling, that something that is supposed to promote learning, does the opposite by causing stress! I am a very "repetition" type person, so doing her practice exams over and over until I was confident was the only thing that helped, and knowing the landmark cases that she covered to a T. Cross elimination helped too on the actual exam. I took over an hour on the test...and I did not score the best, but I did pass today on my first try. I am happy to message you if there are specific's that you are struggling with, although like I said, I did not score the highest. Again, I am so so sorry. I have confidence in you that you can pass though! I feel like if IIII of all people can do it, ANYONE can😭. I am also a big advocator of PRE test and what you do in that time...Getting up, getting outside and walking around for some fresh air, I wore some scented lotion on my hands for the test so I could smell it and be calmed by the scent. I also wore super comfy shoes too. I tried to trick my brain into thinking it was the most normal thing out of my day. Right before the exam I looked over the practice exam for about 15 minutes, and then gave it to God and just had to believe it would work out- or just leave the state and go somewhere else to get my A.A., LOL. I'll be praying you can pass!
I failed like 3 times. I passed the 4th after watching her videos and retaining the knowledge. You have to learn the amendments and landmarks and should be good. Watch video 1 and 2 and give another chance. good luck!!
I took notes on this video and the second, skimmed over my notes before exam, and passed my first attempt. she does a really good job at extracting the absolutely necessary material that will pass you. also, the way she presented how to remember the information was great
I just took the FCLE and I passed, it took me a little bit less than an hour, I watch this video and the #2 all of the tips helped so much and all of the court cases she reviewed where in there! I recommend watch the videos take detailed notes, write it in your own words that way you ensure you really understand it, review different Quizlets, and most importantly read over your notes, and you will guaranteed pass. I studied for about a week before I had to take this exam! Good luck!! You’re going to pass this!! And thank you so much Miss Jennifer!
I’m not one to comment BUT I took the FCLE trying to study other ways & failed! The second time around I only listened to video 1 & 2 taking notes & passed🥳🥳 Thank you for the video I HIGHLY recommend it ❣️
Hey what type of question did you see on the exam ?
@@frito2x904 when i took it basically all of them were court cases. Idk how different the tests are but id definitely focus on those

Quizlet FCLE exam is a bigger help aswell.
I'm going to do the test today fingers crossed then I can get my AA degree ❤
@Jannatsmith2014 I know you passed
Your videos are the reason why I passed my Florida civic literacy exam today, which means I'm graduating college in May. Thank you very much; it really means a lot.
hi, do you remember what types of queston were on the test? Im studying now for it
@@URdesigncreations hello I suggest you use the FCLE quizlet (there's a lot of them) and on my test they asked about abigail adams and Sarah grinsky. Also you need to know the American democracy, us constitution, Supreme Court cases and the 27 amendments. You need at least a 48 out of 80 which is 60% to pass
@@marctandoh5335 thank you so much
@@URdesigncreations Did you pass?
HI! were the questions similar to the practice test question she showed in the video?
only studied for like 4 hrs the night before my exam and passed on my first attempt! thanks so much!!!
Was it difficult?
Perfect crash course for the FCLE! I gave videos 1 & 2 a single view 24 hrs. before the exam and passed with no problem. The tips and tricks for memorizing the Supreme Court cases are genius. I breezed through every one of those questions without blinking. Thanks so much for making all of these resources available to non-FAU students!
Did you really study only from these 2 videos and passed?? Just those.2 vids??
Yes, honestly, just those two to actually study... About an hr before the exam I gave a couple quick run-throughs of the 6 min vid on UA-cam by TutorHawk on how to quickly remember the amendments. Just my 2 cents- know your court cases and amendment basics really well if you're not strong on the early history stuff and you're good to pass. Doing that got me 65/80 for very little study time. Good luck!
@@TracyJuliano-er8xzwould u say it was mainly on the bill of rights, or all 27 amendments?
I passed due to watching one and two like 4or 5x once a day and writing notes and passed !
I took my test yesterday and passed with a 71/80 in 20 minutes!! I watched these videos and really focused on the amendments and court cases and that's really all you need to learn the rest is process of elimination or common sense. Thank you sm for these videos 🫦🫦
Is this the only thing u used to study?
does this apply to the hillsborough county area as well in fl
The remaining 50 questions were mostly asking any of the following:
Verbiage or identifying from a historical document
Questions about federalism, Supreme Court, and what rulings effected what amendments. It was amendment heavy.
Amendments 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 14, 15 were mentioned on my test.
So here’s my tip:
Get some paper and turn this video on speed 1.5x and just pause it to take notes.

Tips for those about to take the exam…
1) Watch ALL THREE videos.
International student here too! I hope I also pass
I took my test today 06/26/24, and I PASSED! Thanks to you! ♥️
I took the test at Palm Beach State College, Boca Campus, and there were 80 questions and you needed 48 to pass.

are the questions simple? I have my test the 30 of this month :(
@@tatianaciprian3969how was it?
Just passed the FCLE on my first attempt and all because of this workshop. Thank you! Now I can apply for graduation 🎉
Thank you. I have to take it soon to graduate college !!
I just got my results today and I passed. Theses videos were such help
I took the test today 4/30/24 the test mostly focused on the cases, that are on video #2 very easy test. These two videos summarized everything on the test if I did it you can to!!!! All multiple choice !
Good stuff. Woke up the morning of, used the Quizlet and videos 1&2 and passed first try. Thank you!
Thank you this video helped me to pass on the first attempt.

Can you give me the link of quizlet
Hi, what is the quizlet you looked at?
where do get the Quizlet?
Thank you so much for this review!! I'm currently in nursing school and when this became a requirement to graduate I was shook to my core. When I took this class it was in 2019 and now its 2023 so I did not recall much from that course though I passed it. But, with these videos I passed my FCLE on the first attempt and I wanted to thank Jennifer B and FAU for it. You're working wonders. Thank you again :)
I just want to thank you for making these videos, they were very helpful and informative. Also the quizlet flash cards came in clutch too! I took the test today and passed on my first try🥳
Just wanted to come on here and thank you! After watched first two prep vids and taking notes I passed 60/80! Thank you so much
I was given about 2 weeks to study and this video as well as her preparation #2 is the only reason I passed! I studied these videos and a Quizlet and I successfully passed this morning.
Hey do you still have that quizlet resource you used?
I was a bit worried to take the FCLE being a foreign student and never studied American history or govt but I passed! I was successful because of your videos...thank you.
Just passed with a 90%! Watched both videos starting two days ago :) thank you so much!
Awesome videos!! I watched the first and second video and studied the Quizlet flashcards and passed on my first try!!!

Studied the day before and watched the first 2 videos right before my test and passed. Thank you so much
glad to come across this to study with for this utterly useless waste of time exam their making everyone take this in Fl to graduate college, I dont know the point of making it a requirement but I want it done and over with and I am told these first 2 videos will help pass on first try
Just passed my test today by using this video and the second one.
I passed my FCLE exam 2 days ago! I watched the 3 videos. Make sure you know the landmark cases very well and which amendment they are tied to. My exam had a few questions on the declaration of independence as well. And a lot of concept questions.
This my 4th time trying to take this damn test and it’s driving me insane! I swear I feel like this test shouldn’t exist. 😞
