This is a great guide. I've actually been getting ready to do vanilla Deadmines recently, so this video has great timing. I love how you listed all the quests at the beginning and then went into detail about how to beat the dungeon. By far the best guide I've seen on Deadmines. Plenty of detail and also entertaining.
All of that preparation info was amazing - when I played through this back in the day, I'm almost certain I didn't take any of those quests to do in the dungeon. Keep it up!
The Emberstone staff... That was my holy grall back in the days ! Nice guide, Nice channel, i've already seen all your vids and I enjoyed every single one ! Cheers from France !
I remember using Mr Smites weapons as a hunter, the guy was kinda hard to kill, not to mention being overly confused as to why people kept on jumping on the wheel.... yeeaaahhh.... too me awhile to figure it out and the healer had enough of trying to heal me so it became my safe heaven. I was one of those hunters that kept pulling on accident because it was my first time going through said dungeon.
That was an awesome video! BTW i have a screenshot from WoW beta where we all screamed "goonies!!" in chat when we entered the boat room for the first time. One my a best memories from the game :)
Wow, I really like these guides you're doing! I really hope to see many more so I can get a heads up on my journey through classic! Good job, another sub well earned.
Love how you added the gear drops in and explained the boss fights. Keep it up dude.. do all the dungeons on the journey to 60 and I'll pocket heal you for life
I'll be looking forward to the rest of this series--most specifically for the Quest portion! It'll be nice to know where to get all the quests for something like Mara/BRD/Uldaman/SM, etc. Great stuff Plat, keep it up!
I really like the way you present the informative stuff, along with the jokes, but I feel like vanilla dungeons aren't technically difficult enough to warrant guides... Though I must admit that all the preparation stuff was quite nice.
a lot of them are a maze actually, they're not difficult on their own but i think most of them require some clarification. Drop someone in Uldaman and tell me if he understand anything about that crazy dungeon
I think you could have done a better job at explaining some of the pre-requisites for some of the quests. Example, the Reed silk quest is not available until after you get the Defias quest chain to after the Traitor part.
@@Regunes I used to always get lost in Maraudon, BRD and Gnomeregan. Different plateaus, winding walkways, map doesn't do shit to help, and mobs around just about every corner to slow your progress down even more. Uldaman was not that bad for me. There was some running around involved, but I never really felt lost in there.
I have done BRD so many times, so I doubt its gonna be a problem In fact, I doubt any dungeon gonna be a problem, except maybe the wing in Dire Maul with the Imp
Great vid man. I just thought you forgot a small, but sometimes punishing detail - you can accidentally pull Greenskin while going up the boat, cause he is patrolling near your path and also bring 2-3 packs along with him
The amount of quality you put in these videos is insane especially when you compare it too how many views it *should* be getting. These guides are probably the easiest to understand and they go over everything.
I love your humour, that makes your videos really enjoyable :) Maybe make a short pause after you show some loot sometimes i wasn't even able to pause before you skipped the loot.
I fucking loved this dungeon. This is what got me hooked on WoW. When I first started playing I didn't have money for a subscription, so I made 10-day trials on Alliance and ran Deadmines.
I am pretty new to wow i tried both modern and vanilla and vanilla stole my heart. Thank you for making this quality content srsly enjoy all of your vids big fan keep the good work man :3
I WISH YOU POSTED THIS 2 DAYS AGO!!!! I only managed to clear it on the third run. all the drama, all the problems, spot on. It's like you were in there, in the same group with me or something.
This is definitely so accurate I'm a tank and Deadmines was my first dungeon. We got wiped a total of 6 times, were not organized at all (dps often pulled) and the packs were giant At the end I died 2 times when almost no health was left to the bosses and the group completed it, what a mess! I'm now farming it to get better lmao
Ive watched alot of wow content on youtube. But i love the way you edit and add comedy to it. Too many channels are just boring monologues on what to do. What program do u use for editing?
Ah, such memories... I think I only cleared DM three times while playing Classic, but the first time was easily the most intense. Until then you didn't really have to play with other players to beat quests. If some were too hard, you just leveled up and completed them later. But there was no way that you could out-level a dungeon.
Nice! Looking forward to more, you could maybe add what level you need to be to pick up these dungeon quests, the level they become yellow instead of white
Amazing video as always, very helpful and fun to watch at the same time. Keep it up, i'll be waiting for more classic related stuff like this! Cheers bro!
Oh this was amazing. Definitely continue this series. One can dream perhaps people will actually learn to handle vanilla dungs and not waste everyone's time by doodling around.
I actually had the "unsent letter" in my inventory till about 6 months to a year ago when they removed it from my character :(. A super old character i only played when i talked to a friend who was alliance on another server.

ur channel is gonna blow up when classic launches. You deserve it!
He and we are still waiting for this "blow"
All of that preparation info was amazing - when I played through this back in the day, I'm almost certain I didn't take any of those quests to do in the dungeon. Keep it up!
Great stuff, Platinum!
Bloody hell fire this video was first class mate don't stop making them
The Emberstone staff... That was my holy grall back in the days !
Nice guide, Nice channel, i've already seen all your vids and I enjoyed every single one !
Cheers from France !
This video is so detailed and full of info- really surprised it doesn't have more views!
We want more my guy, love this concept you developed.
how did I just now stumble across this. this is amazing. well done
I love you and your videos, Platinum.
The really good info paired with the goofy jokes and Machinima make this so unique! Keep it up, my dude.
That was an awesome video!
BTW i have a screenshot from WoW beta where we all screamed "goonies!!" in chat when we entered the boat room for the first time. One my a best memories from the game :)
6:10 Felt like a flashback to so many doomed runs I was on.
that's a reslly good idea for a series
Great to see you finding new informative guides to show us.
Keep it up.
Best series ever! Can`t wait for the rest :D
You are already my favorite WoW channel. Keep up with the great and super quality content. You put a shit ton of work into these, and it shows
Wow, I really like these guides you're doing! I really hope to see many more so I can get a heads up on my journey through classic! Good job, another sub well earned.

Thank you for the video!
Who ever can tell me the intro and outro song without checking the description gets 10 gamer points ;)
if my ears serve me right it's "Welcome to the Deadmines"
Jesse Cox was whispering sweet nothings into my ear the second I heard it.
Great video! Can't wait to see more of this from you!
Bro I just got done wiping in Deadmines a few hours ago for the first time over a decade...then I see this. Crazy lol
Platinum, I haven't seen Wow videos this good since 'The Grind'. Keep up the good work.
Man you've got a killer sense of humor and make great videos. Awesome :)
I'll be looking forward to the rest of this series--most specifically for the Quest portion! It'll be nice to know where to get all the quests for something like Mara/BRD/Uldaman/SM, etc. Great stuff Plat, keep it up!
The only wow channels i subscribe, so cool and fun, use some horde stuff too, from a horde player fan
Please do one of these for BRD. It basically the main dungeon in Classic that you keep going back to over and over.
I really like the way you present the informative stuff, along with the jokes, but I feel like vanilla dungeons aren't technically difficult enough to warrant guides... Though I must admit that all the preparation stuff was quite nice.

@@Regunes haha ye uldaman is a mess when you don't know it, so is brd

WOWOWOOOO,... 6:42 a CAT pet in the first Dungeon?
Epic loot right away! :)
Ah the memories~ Please do all the dungeons if you can!
This series is really well done... how ever, i am a wow vet so these videos are just my evening lawls.
Short, informative and to the point. I like it.
This was really good! I'd like to see guides like this for every dungeon since i've probably forgotten most of vanilla dungeons by now :P
Awesome video ! Only thing missing was mage sheeping for the goblin room.
Great vid man.
I just thought you forgot a small, but sometimes punishing detail - you can accidentally pull Greenskin while going up the boat, cause he is patrolling near your path and also bring 2-3 packs along with him
Haha 'Proper Manners'. I so love that part :D you make cool videos man :D
