Phantom Ganon has the best Ganondorf moveset I've ever seen.

@@clay2889they mean not on the switch. There’s gonna be another Smash game for sure, but it’s usually a console seller and Nintendo likes to make a new one everytime they release a console. There’s never been two Smash games on one console before
Considering Sakurai's refusal to make an accurate Ganondorf for the past 4 smash games and keeping him as a modified clone of Captain Falcon... don't get your hopes up.

essentially, yes. sometimes when there's a prominent fan moveset, AND really good advances on the original in games developed at the same time, they split it into two characters like this to retain the best of both.

This should be mage Ganondorf, not a puppet that doesn't even perform his OOT boss battle move set. Project + V2.4.2 is more accurate of how mage Ganondorf is and should be.
If you know your way around modifying files, you could replace one of Phantom Ganon's costumes with regular Ganondorf. Thus, you'll have Mage Ganondorf.
But I agree that this Phantom Ganon identity should have never been implemented in the first place. We have two versions of Samus, Zelda and Mario, so why not simply have two playable Ganondorfs?
