Yi's heal had ap ratio. I don't know is it still a thing.
No, Yi's heal HAS an AP ratio of 100%(USED to be 400%!). Yi's Q USED to have something like a 90% AP ratio.

@@mykytademchenko3044 nah , look up season 2 yi abilities and it shows , q did magic damage but the rest of his kit stayed the same , his ult tho gave him resets to all abilities on takedown , instead of refunding 30% - 40% and 50% of the cooldown that is now.

I think I left because of that. Not just AP yi but because that time period they went through and basically removed most of the champs alt builds and play styles forcing you to do sort of the same shit every single game.
Ap was countered easily but cool now I guess we just build AD and feed until like 5 years later when items champ and funnel becomes a thing.

The yuumi build for optimal annoyance is moonstone + knights vow on mega tanks. Worth trying!

The only counter in mid for yi was ryze the old good ryze
I been running tank yi for tankless ARAM teams since the dawn of time. Yi is a great bait tank like Teemo. You want untargetability. Duskblade is your only dmg item except maybe a wits end vs ap team. You want hail of blades or tempo to cycle your alpha with autos so it's always up. If done properly you will be able to alpha every two autos while being stealthed by duskblade in between. When they are finally able to target you, wait for their cc and either alpha it or wait for it and press w with your spirit visage giving you full hp while they attack you with heal cut. If you go the no duskblade all tank route, the rule is if it has cooldowns you buy it. Again to alpha all the time because you have no attack speed to cycle your alpha.
If there’s any silver lining, it’s that every champ on the other team is well hated anyways

@@Esplin6296 Lol I used to main Volibear and Hecarim, but I hated Yis with a passion and didn't understand exactly what was happening with his abilites. So I played him just to research, I seriously only intended to understand why he was invisible, what was happening after and why I kept dying so fast to him. And I ended up absolutely loving him, he is so fun. I play in Bronze, so I literally get 15-20 kills most games, and it is so fucking fun. I honestly don't care if I never get out of bronze, I hope I don't tbh, because it is so fun totally dominating like this. Though I'm on a really good win streak right now, won the last 8 games, and I gained more LP than I am comfortable with. I know that once I leave bronze he becomes unviable :(. Unfortunately he also gets banned a lot, so I've started learning Kha Zix as a backup. Also super fun, but not nearly as fun as yi.

Tbh it's cool, but crit with navorri quick blades and kraken slayer will dish out 3000 dps with aas plus almost constant qs
