@@ceterisparibus8966 Ethical boundaries around treating people or "professional" boundaries around protecting the privileged? Callie is amazing at the former, at the expense of pissing of rich opportunists. Its rough but important
I am so loving this lady.. Callie needs to start trusting ppl to do the right thing she doesn't always have to be everybody's hero. If this was anyone else they would have fired her on the spot. Its the same thing she did with Jamie and no one in her family ever calls her out on her reckless actions. What she did to Jamie could have gotten her disbarred if she was a licensed lawyer at the time. Rules are set down for a reason she is too young and inexperienced to be disregarding said rules.
I honestly do think Callie means well. She doesn’t trust in authority figures because they consistently failed her until she was 16. And she hasn’t shaken the belief that if she doesn’t do things herself, it won’t get done and I honestly think she just sees herself all those years in foster care in the people she wants to help. I definitely think she should talk to someone about her impulse control issues because it can create problems but ultimately I feel like she’s coming from a sincere place.

Callie did the right thing AND got the outcome Kathleen wanted. Kathleen had a plan to protect Jared. It was a breakdown in trust but I didn't like Kathleen threatening her. Callie felt she was violating an ethical boundary and if they got caught they could get in trouble. I think Kathleen should remember why she hired Callie to begin with and see they can both challenge each other and get better.

She needed to hear that. She ruined Jamie’s career and still won’t take responsibility. She sabotages everything she touches because of how self righteous she is and an know it all.
Jamie is from a wealthy family and is able to get a job pretty much anywhere. She didnt ruin his career just got him cut off from one specific company.
Yeah and she thinks she didn't do anything wrong just because she saved the tenants. Uh, sweetheart, you ruined your own career and your relationship. Take some responsibility and woman up to your mistakes. In a lot of ways, Callie is still a child.

That's exactly the point. Callie is fresh out of law school and has just started this job, she has no experience or practical knowledge, yet she's acting like she knows better than her boss who's been doing this for years. It's disrespectful and arrogant, and she deserved to be called out on it.
This is good. Someone needs to tell Callie about herself and her self righteous attitude. That girl doesn’t respect boundaries.
How does she not respect boundaries?

Well, Callie violated an ethical boundary herself, so she really isn't in a position to judge someone else doing the same.
