@Kagura The Taylor Swift scandal (even though it wasn't a scandal and the news was blowing it out of proportion), His golden globe speech which was also misinterpreted by the media, and one of his movies bombing. The media and social media attacking him for his looks and for him dating TS. They said he was a try hard and the James Bond director Brocolli something said he wasn't manly enough to be bond. The media calling him closeted gay etc... Yeah that's why he stopped being on social media after 2020 and hates going on interviews with the press. They really tried to break him. He was so sad and he lost the light in his eyes, you could see it in some of his 2018 endgame interviews.

@i v y The good news is MOST people like/love Tom Hiddleston. It was a handful of gossip magazines like Niki swift and TMZ that attacked him and maybe celebrity gossip forums like LSA. And none of those are respected in the industry so it didn't negatively impact his career. He is still up for some shows like White Stork and The White Darkness and Loki season 2. He even has a family and friends who support him. Not to mention more reputable institutions and media houses love him. But yeah there were very low vibrational people that wanted to knock him down a peg in 2016-2018. Those people are probably still angry they didn't succeed so for that I'm glad. They also got a lot of backlash from the public because again most people like Tom Hiddleston. I hope he focuses on his family and career and never lets the haters have an impact on how he views himself again. Because during his depression phase his eyes were dim and he looked disheveled. I love him and he has a long career ahead of him. I also would like to meet him one day because I've been a fan of his since Avengers 1 came out when I was 12.

I love seeing him so happy if I ever get to meet him I am gonna tell him how he helped me when I was in a tough dark place and he saved me.
