Saw Lightning Bolt almost 15 years ago, and I'd say it's still the best live show I've ever seen or ever will see.

I just want to give the guitarist and vocalist a shout out for being able to shred that shit and still be able to have pipes like that. This band is mad talented, I will def try and see them whenever they play in my state.

Wow, as a musician for 20+ years these guys play so so tight, Drummer is amazing. Even if this type of music isn't your cup of tea this is a pristine example of how to play tight as a band everyone knows what everyone is doing and it shows.

The difference a creative drummer can make. Saw this band a few days ago and it was a different drummer but still the same variety and awesome groove. The guitars + bass were awesome too. This band kept me constantly entertained, there was never a moment where my mind was wandering or i knew what was happening next

EQ pedals are the most underrated equipment a guitarist can have. You can basically shape your sound to whatever kind you like.
Favorite band out there right now. Write absolutely killer songs, and turn my nostalgia dial up to 11 for that golden era of Majority Rule/pg. 99/City of Caterpillar/etc.

The drummers blasts are on point with his single pedal. Kinda esque of “Billy Rhymer" from DEP.
Bassys playing was tight. Not to forget "The frontman" with his multitasking skills.

Surprised I only found out about these guys from hearing a song where Matt was doing guest vocals so I had to figure out his name and who he played with. Their sound is so eerie and disturbing it’s brilliant. Idk how to describe it, it like actually gives me chills it scares the shit out of me sometimes lol. These guys kill it and the fact it’s a 3 piece band is badass

When i saw the Tumbnail and the name of the band i though they were a sludge metal band, like Yautja.
Then the intro reminded me of Daughters, the drums came in and i was like "Yup, Sludge", but then he starts with black metal vocals. Eventually i just gave up, they sound sick anyway. The drums are amazing, the bass tone is really good and the reverb overload matches the vocals nicely btw i think it's fun that none of them look like if they listen to metal at all.
you probably weren't exposed to bands like Usurp Synapse and Majority Rule, which, I think, these guys look up into, a lot...
also try City of Caterpillar, Orchid, Funeral Diner, maybe even PG.99, and Curl Up And Die. but yeah - mainly Majority Rule....
they started as a more screamo band but their new stuff includes many elements, like death metal

They seem to blur the line between Screamo and Black Metal. I’ve never heard these guys prior to checking out this video on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised.

This drummer is so fuckin good and not many of y'all may realize how much of an athletic feat drumming like this is. It's extremely taxing and if you haven't been training for it or just playing like that your whole life and taking decent care of yourself it's literally not possible. Huge props to the drummer and this band fucking RIIIIIIPS
