Kris sir I would say you are no doubt the most informative person I watch on UA-cam. keep it up.and keep making great content. have a good night and god bless. oh yah and tight lines.
*These are easy to use and highly visible **enjoyable.fishing** recommend they are extremely valuable for going from a dead drift set up to a float setup. They save time and you don't have to re-tie everything to add a float to your presentation.*
this has helped me out alot to figure out how to make my a rig for bobber fishing catfish. I been struggling with just a sinker so hopefully this might be what i need to change things up a little
Hey kris i won 1 of ur bobbers at Steve Douglas' captain mad jacks tournament the other night, i went on an watched this video again to make sure how to use it, seems like its gonna b pretty cool thanks man!
I've been fishing since childhood, I'm almost 40. I've tied snells my entire life. Just now am I realizing I've been doing it wrong. Great tutorial, love your videos. Thank you.
pretty sweet design. nicely done. love how you go into detail for people. if you ever make your way to ohio id love to meet and take you fishing brother.
I assume the weight is for making the rig easier to cast? I often fish w/a b-gill under a bobber w/ no weight at all or just a small weight between the hook and mainline swivel to try and keep the b-gill under the surface as they tend to want to swim up.
I purchased the Muddy River catfish XL Bobber, I put a 4 oz egg weight sinker on it and it seems to drift quite a bit, do you think that bobber would hold up with a 10 oz egg weight sinker and not get submerged?
If you take a plastic twelve oz. pop bottle and glue another lid upside down on the existing lid then you can hook a swivel like on your bobber to the upside down lid. Then you buy the small led flashlight fits in the bottle. Triple "A" battery last about ten hours. Love your channel. PS I've used both I just have an easier time seeing the light in the pop bottle. Thank you for all the info you provide.
Kris , if you don't mind me asking what poundage is your main line ? I'm still a mono line guy haven't learned to tie the The floor carbon line or the others yet .
Great Video but the web site you gave is no longer available and these bobbers are no longer available on amazon or any other site I can find. Do you know if this is temporary?
I fish in this area where there are some big channel cats but I've tried live bait cut bait and everything is not working I don't know why they aren't getting hook I use a 5 ought circle hook and usually cut bluegill and I let it's sit for about 30 minuets before I change bait but usually I don't even get a nibble would You know why that this might be happening bc I know there are some big ones I there they just won't bite do you know why ?
Dakota Starkey I recommend hot dogs soaked in strawberry jellow like Luke uses from cats and carp. I fish primarily in rivers and always get the channels on hot dogs. Next is shrimp and last is cured chicken liver.
Jcmadrid216 it was meant as a joke. if he can make these videos, cut and edit then get them uploaded to UA-cam. I'm sure he has enough sense to use a knife. He does a great job that's very informative and entertaining .

awesome video thanks for the tips
Hey Kris, do you have a personal email so I can send you a picture?
I assume the weight is for making the rig easier to cast? I often fish w/a b-gill under a bobber w/ no weight at all or just a small weight between the hook and mainline swivel to try and keep the b-gill under the surface as they tend to want to swim up.
yes, the weight helps to cast and also to keep the bait submerged. The stronger the current and the bigger the bait, the heavier the weight.
muddyrivercatfishing hey where did you get your trolling weights from?
I purchased the Muddy River catfish XL Bobber, I put a 4 oz egg weight sinker on it and it seems to drift quite a bit, do you think that bobber would hold up with a 10 oz egg weight sinker and not get submerged?
LIKE THE INFO.
I just ordered some. Do they come with anything besides the bobbers? If not what night sticks fit in there? Thanks

I just ordered free shipping worth of them. Great vid
Kris, so with a bobber you want to keep your bait suspended off the bottom??
another way I found is instead of using the slider thing, us a swivel with a clasp because it is almost the same thing
can you cast far with these bobbers? I got a 7ft pole and 30lb braid. How far will it cast from shore with a 12ft pole and 50lb braid?
Exelente vídeo amigo felicidades
gracias mi Sergio!
I will be ordering some of those , do you sell the glow sticks as well?
Which style bobber woyld be better for channel cats? I see there are 3 sizes
Hey Kris, in your experience, how well do these work in rivers with a stronger current?
super cool
Thanks a lot.
where can I buy that sinker slider? my place only have the stupid bulky sinker slider that's not optimal for my fishing LOL
Have you used it for gar fishing
Enjoyed video. What size braided line do you use?
Thank you! I use 65lb braided line
👍👍👍
Great Video but the web site you gave is no longer available and these bobbers are no longer available on amazon or any other site I can find. Do you know if this is temporary?
They are available at www.muddyrivercatfishing.com
@@muddyrivercatfishing Thanks, I found them
I tried your suggested link for buying the big bobber. No luck. Scheels si the site I was sent to and they don't have it.
Terence Gillespie you can find them at www.hooksetterusa.com
I need some of those
I fish in this area where there are some big channel cats but I've tried live bait cut bait and everything is not working I don't know why they aren't getting hook I use a 5 ought circle hook and usually cut bluegill and I let it's sit for about 30 minuets before I change bait but usually I don't even get a nibble would You know why that this might be happening bc I know there are some big ones I there they just won't bite do you know why ?

Thanks man I will definitely try it. I have kinda tried it before but not really gave it a chance but I appreciate it I will definitely try it !!
What do you think I should use for blue cats ?
Dakota Starkey I catch all my blue cats in shrimp...sometimes on live bait.
Danny kings stink bait is great for channel cats.
Any videos of this in action?
Here's one ua-cam.com/video/1fNH-ijFg8c/v-deo.html
Kris ,man send me your address so I can send you some scissors. Your gonna lose some skin with that knife buddy!!!
Jcmadrid216 it was meant as a joke. if he can make these videos, cut and edit then get them uploaded to UA-cam. I'm sure he has enough sense to use a knife. He does a great job that's very informative and entertaining .
Nail clippers is safer and more accurate too.
Nothing I hate more than glow sticks..LED is the way to go now.
A pair of cheap nail clipper's work much better than a knife, got a pair in my tackle box.....don't need the 3 hand

just use a water jug you don't have to go through all that problem putting it together
I use a similar rig but with a 2-liter with a frisbee as a sail. jorge.saldivar.co/2017/09/18/i-love-them-blues/
damn a UA-camr who doesn't have a address always saying send me something....
nice presentation but near 13 minutes explaining how to rig a bobber?
