Love my flat sided crankbait. I like to fish it in 2 - 6 ft of water in place of a square bill. Been catching a lot of good fish on it all summer. Especially around Timber

I think the line between flatsides and square bills is not real defined. I definitely tend to throw the squarebill more when that water hits 55 and flatsides below that. Depending on the brand, you can get them down to 5-7 pretty consistently

Hey Tyler, great informational video on flat sided cranks, especially for this time of year being in Ohio. I have been looking into them, and more companies have come out with flat sided cranks than I thought. I was looking at a few made by Strike King, LuckyCraft, Spro, and 6th Sense. Are there any specific flat sided cranks you would recommend? Thanks and again, great video!

I like the Strike King Flat Side 1.5 and I really like the Berkley Frittside. PH Custom makes some good wooden flat sides which I like a lot too

@@BassFishingHQ That's the Strike King Flat Side I was looking into. I forgot about the Frittside! I have fished the Dredger and seen the Frittside and meant to look more into it. I'll have to check out the PH Customs too. Thanks man and keep up the good videos!
