Thank you for turning down the hyperbole setting. The previous video was so "over the top" i just turned off.

Will there be a change to begin using the metric units for thrust, Newtons?

    As always, SpaceX making progress.
One notices that the Trolls are having a harder and harder
time accusing Elon of being a Con man... 🤭
The engines issues are to be expected, They are some pretty edgy tech. Basically contimuous feed bombs...
    "Las Bombas!"
And its obvious it takes awhile twidling to get reliable function in such numbers as on each ship. And one can only imagine what things would be like, if they were still using those Raptor 1 designs. 😖
The good news is its sounding like Raptor 3 may debut this year or early next on Starship V-2, I would expect a bit of a functionality set back at first, maybe an engine or two not firing, but with the nifty simplification from the Raptor 2 models, they should be up to snuff within a couple flights, and set a new standard for reliability at pressure and volume of flow.
This is gonna be bad news for the competition, as SpaceX will be about two jumps ahead on the engines game board. And those engines are money makers...
Also Falcon will soon be obsolite, archaic engine designs using a dirty fuel... I think we could see SpaceX have the money to design and build a courrier rocket based on the Starship fabrication and engine tech.
Chances are as Starlink expands, the proceeds will help SpaceX expand its operation into more variables in designs and production.
Also the Space Force and DOD are likely to get a kick in the pants under the next admin.
And their Boss start pointing at rocket tech, and asking how it can replace 100 year old legacy tech.
One thing we know for sure is that Space is the high ground.
He who can hang out there and drop rocks, doesnt need Nukes.
We will probably recycle a bunch of those for resources for
Transit ship drives, and for Moon base, and Mars base power supplies. And for those Picket Ships we should have an englobement of around our solar system with their ears and eyes on, for our inevitable first encounter of the Arrival kind.
Being suprized is the unforgivable sin of the Warrior class...
And if you think we are alone in the Universe, you aren't as intelligent as you presume.
And nothing would fix the Planetary economy faster and better than serious high production Space programs.
Also it could usher in a new era of cooperation. As it would take importance over our Malthusian tendencies. We really should start morphing Military expenditures towards space, and quit threatening each other for the profit of a few.
Lets create competing Space Industrial Complexes.... And maybe consider doing redundant things in space for mutual security, and have some airlock standards, so we can plug in, and save the guys on other teams if there are problems.
    We are all humans...
And we will likely eventually face some things that are not.
Maybe if Aliens show up hungry, we can feed them Bureaucrats to keep them busy while we mount a defense?
Would seem a Patriotic end use for them.... 🤣
Better days ahead guys, Lots of good paying Jobs, new sources of resources, plenty of adventures...
Probably not that long until guys are drinking cold beers in Alpha Base on the Moon.
Would be just the thing after working outside in a Space suit.. Even with the shade cloth up areas, it gets sweaty...
But somebody has to do that work, and it pays well...
Its all gonna come way faster than we think.
    Just sayin....

One accident in 350+ flights is an outstanding record in my book, why all the hassle from the FAA?

    • @vidaaquatic2131
      @vidaaquatic2131 Місяць тому +2

Because things change. And if they didn't do the review and there was a second accident you would likey be the first screaming why didn't the FAA do it right. Sigh. 😂

With Texas/Florida launch sites, why would the California infrastucture make sense on a small mind?

What saying FAA said the mishap is public safety? Not sure.

    Rocket is complicated and dificulte
    Low safety and high cost
    We need somethings better
Developing technologies to enable human access to space at dramatically lower cost and increased reliability #FeelFree

Bet since he says he will donate money to Trump, it will be a slow drawn out process for the FAA Investigation.

Nonsense, as usual. The "investigation" is conducted by SpaceX, and reported to the FAA, and they sign off on it.

There is no mishap investigation from IFT4 so try again but you may be on to something being held up on flight license but the DOD is way too interested in this vehicle for it to be slowed down. I hope not delayed I'm planing a vacation down to south padre and hoping it to be at the right time

I do not believe sPACE x PROPAGANDA
Do believe, still, its the best tech beat regarding space. But with its owner, guetting doubts!
