For the latter half of 2021, we get new features for the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado. And it still sells for the same price. This might be one of the last 4th gen, J150 Prados that you can buy before the 2023 Toyota Prado comes out

Beautiful yet Rugged. I would like to own one of these as my final car before i reach 60 years old. I find the size just right….not too big and not too small. Looks is timeless. It never grows old on me. The one featured here is exactly the one i want, even the color is perfect. 10 years to go. im going to OWN This beauty!

For its price I would rather buy fortuner and conquest 😅 at least dalawa sasakyan mo 😂
it may not look so good than other suv’s but it’s insanely reliable. I have my 2003 4cylinder w/ 560k km odo cruising everyday here in middle east @ 50c weather. Gas & go!
I have the 2021 gxl version here in aus. I owned a jeep grand cherokee prior kay prado. Jeep is not even close. As for the fortuner, its a pick-up truck with a third row seat. Cant compare to a prado

Hmm. Great review. FYI Prado does have 360 degree cameras but not that great quality in pixals, Tail lights are LED and reverse cameras do have the lines moving as you turn. Maybe just depends on the model.
Toyota's reliability are incomparable !!!!
Isuzu, Honda, Mazda and Mitsubishi are just as good. Maganda lang talaga ride nitong Prado kompara sa karaniwang SUVs na pang middle class like Fortuner (bumpiest riding SUV) and Montero.
2:19 the light are actually leds except the turn signal and reverse and also u got a rear wiper but it’s hidden

Is it just me or mas maganda ang prado kesa sa lc200/lc300. Yung tipong pag dinaan mo sa putikan di ka manghihinayang. Yung LC200/LC300 kasi parang ginawang executive nalang talaga sa Pinas. Pero dito sa Dubai ginawang pang disyerto ng mga sheikh.

Yes it automatically tilts when you put it in reverse

Sir can you enlighten me what's so special with the Prado? Kinda noob here. What I know is it just have the same engine either 2.8 from Fortuner or 4.0 from Fj. The ride is quite better. But what makes it cost 4 million pesos? In terms of interior the Fortuner seems pretty much the same but more updated.
I think it's mostly pedigree. People want the land cruiser prado because it's a land cruiser prado. Prado owners and fans gush about its reliability and off road performance. Honestly i don't see how either reason justifies the price but toyota has built up the land cruiser badge so well that it became its own selling point. Also Its a luxury badge so value for money isn't an issue for a lot of buyers.
I think the other feature it has is the full time 4wd and KDSS like in lc200. Its supposed to be 3.7-3.8m but because of TRAIN law, it got higher.

The Land Cruiser Prado is a better engineered (KDSS, cabin refinement, wheel articulation, etc.) stand alone mid size 4x4 vehicle compared to the Fortuner which merely shares mechanicals with its pick-up counterpart. The price is not merely based on pedigree.
@@jamd3667 in Australia the Prado is priced near the Fortuner 4x4.
