- In keeping with a promise I made long ago - videos that were once private or unlisted that demonstrated AP ability on games that have since been nerfed will become public after the nerf.
Not that this game is a secret to anyone at this point.
This video was shot by Matt3756 of arcade UA-cam fame.
This is a good show of an "average" Slam Extreme run of 60 balls - a few runs of consecutive misses, a couple runs of consecutive hits, some balls not coming out cleanly, a little bit of everything.
All things considered, between the negatives of tube misdrops but the positives of occasionally having a ball count twice going through the sensor, I'd say 6,000 tickets is average, 7,000 tickets is good, and 9,000 is getting into excellent territory. (I say 9k as the benchmark because if you were allowed to open up the machine and just place every ball in the 150 hole, you'd get 9,000.)

Can you do a video of you cashing some of your tickets?
I don't see what that would accomplish though? I kinda get the same stuff all the time. There's not really much interesting about that part of the AP.

There are 10 year olds who do what I do...well, did, on Slam consistently. (None of them have been around since the nerf though.) If the tube is well-maintained, drops consistently, and is pointed straight down rather than tilted backward or forwards, this is not difficult to learn.

Slam Xtreme looks great for tix, but it seems like now you have to be 100% accurate to beat it now (like Quik Drop with the 20 sec timer now) Let's hope Pop the Lock (new game) doesn't autolose...
Even though this was nerfed, would you still consider it to be a game that could be played for profit? Or is the profit made too small to be considered worth it?
Brandon Schapiro Yes, but the machine must be very well maintained. You need about 7,500 tickets per 60 balls on Wednesday to double your money.
Not bad, none of the ones i play on are lined up that good, always hits the back side of the rim.

Yes - and given D&B has outright shown they thought they were paying too much and nerfed the game, there's not really a secret to keep any longer.

Just another one Cost used to be 9.9 for 3 balls or 5.0 on Wednesday. Now it's 4.9 for 1 ball or 2.4 on Wednesday. Roughly a 50% cost increase.
