One of the new buttons on the left corner allows you to see every item currently in the machine, and you can highlight each one specifically in case you can't find where it is in the machine.
Limiting the Bargain's discount to 50% had to happen. Reducing costs to 0 was just way too ridiculous. Too bad you can't do absurd runs where you guarantee that you have the rare item you want on each fight anymore, though.
understandable but it should let it go up to 75 or 80
I mean it only really benefitted going really deep in endless, let people have their fun and only really balance around the normal runs.
@@Zorgdub I think there should be a separate mode called like "broken mode" where single-use objects become repeating and discount goes back down to 0%
It took so long to get to max bargain that it honestly already felt balanced, because you'd have to be doing a pretty long run to get it in the first place, and it allowed for really long endless runs.
Honestly I disagree, because it was something that could really only happen in Endless, which *should* be breakable.

Yes, but maybe that could've been also a plus-point as I remember they scale weirdly eating each other

The transmutation has so many uses for so many builds! You can make any item plastic to be used with the recycling bin, and also make it so other recycling bins don't consume themselves, as well as making any item float or sink in water (like making all your weapons float to the top) or get affected by magnets, batteries, wood oil, or whetstone. Also im not surprised they nerfed bargain to only stack 10 times.
Water build is now kinda fun - the Battery gives your metal items splash damage if it's wet, and you can use the alchemist to decide if things float, sink, or are magnetized.
i don't know about anyone else, but I really like the videos where you're unlocking new content when there's an update! Even more than the meta build videos, after all the new content unlocked offline. I think it's because I don't play these games myself, so it's more exciting seeing the progression. :-P

Yea, I personally feel like this change is bad. I talked about this in the comments in the past (about people saying it's too broken), and it only happens on an Endless run (and then depends on RNG when you get it). Meaning this is pretty much a perfect tool to go sandbox mode with the game and have fun. The fun now ended and I don't think that's good, simply because it happens after the main game is over.
Personally I think it should be like 75% or so or even like 95% discount max so it still costs something to reroll but barely anything.
sure it was broken, but it wasn't like you could get it easily in a run, you would have to be deep in an endless run. At that point, I kinda want 0 cost rerolling to edge out every possible boost possible

Gotta say, I'm kind of sad that the laser point is gone. Granted it was plastic and didn't do magnet shenanigans, but hey you can always transmute it into metal! I wonder if there's every going to be a game mode where tentacle claw gets unlocked as the actual claw, maybe a charm similar to the magnet claw charm?
There will be a character with tentacle claws as far as I could figure, but they will be released with the full game
@@DexTag That's good to know. Although, I got to imagine they have to nerf it in some way, as it is it seems a bit OP.
@@Mike__B probably you only get one tentacle claw with the character, that would make it more fair
@@Mike__BFrom this video, the tentacles seem to split apart properly only after they hit the water. I expect they'll be a lot worse if there's no water, or only a low amount. So maybe it'll be balanced around that?
@@phill8223 That's a great point. I know when I play I NEVER to flood the box with water much less lava, which seems to have limited usage.

The battery doesn't trigger the items when they get electrified, it does so when you pick them up and they attack, they will also deal 10% damage to all enemies. (I read it as if it would trigger when they got electrified too)
Scrappys lucky paw makes the first item a big magnet all the time. If you play scrappy with his paw, every claw is a magnet lul

The magic comes with the third magned. By having 3 metallic objects that attract metallic objects, you create a chaotic system.
You should limit yourself to 2 metallic magnets. The third should be wooden.

The first thing I did with this update was transmute rings to metal and hands of Midas to plastic, can very much recommend.
Idea: they could/should make it so that every X bosses beaten (since floors don't work like they used to) some non stackables get a refresh and can get purchased again, with deminishing returns ofc. I think it would be cool if started counting when you enter endless to allow for crazy runs if you want to, without lagging the pc of casual players.

glad they buffed the cat, it always seemed worthless in other runs because of the laser pointers.

I think 2 upgraded magnets is the way to go any more than 2 makes them freak out and makes it impossible to get without the megnet claw

Is this an update or more so a final release? The game wasn't out yet after all. Is it finally out? Seems like the devs intended us to find glitches, test all the weapons, and see damage scaling for enemies.

Seems like the magnets suck now. And capping the bargain at 10 is awful. Its impossible to get 16 before endless anyway why does it matter how crazy you break the game after endless??

I am SO GLAD they changed Felina, she was so utterly useless before that it made me quit the game how weak she was and the fact that the reward for winning as her was just more bloat in the item pool
How to have this new update is this only for betatesters?
Do Count Clawcula, he's so fun. I just did a run with Junk Jet and Vampirism and he was basically immortal - if they couldn't do 300+ damage in a single turn, I'd heal everything. The more enemies there were, the more I'd heal, because of the battery making me do bonus damage to every enemy triggering even more heals. Scaling was the "take damage to gain strength" perk, and a few metal-shifted spiky stressballs that, fun fact, would do 5 to me and heal for 6 with vampirism while also giving me even more strength.
Metal-shifted water bottles are also good, as are metal-shifted health potions (not that I used any of those, a basic Knife heals me for more than a potion lol).

Why would you change the material like that just make everything metal and you will pick up everything with Magnet + you need the trinket that strengthens the magnetism so not much could fall off
Remember if a change benefits the player that's balancing. If it benefits the NPC that is nerfing 😂😂

They removed the 20 bargains? Yeah no, not buying. Dont need another roguelike where the devs nerf the fun strats but never the unfun enemies.
Reminds me of how the peglin devs nerfed everything so heavily i just couldnt enjoy it anymore.
