I remember I was newly married and on 31 st night she offered her car to my husband to take me out to bring in the new years in 1982..

Shammiji was born in village Nargol, and not Nagrol.(A small village near Sanjan).
Kudos Sir. The depth of information and style of presentation continues to astonish and gratify. I lived in Lokhandwala, Andheri West 2005/2008 and had the pleasure and honour of meeting Shammi ji at one of the cinemas/multiplexes. I was in my 40s then. As I introduced myself from Africa, she gave me a bemused smile and said Bete you are too young to know my movies. To which I gave her a string of names. She was Enchanted. As one kahatha ki actress dancer Jeevankala ka episode As one kiy a hai. Lemon mujhe kahin NAHI milaa. Jeevankala was a very underaTed actress dancer. I would like to know about her if you please. Aabhaar
