First!🎉
We just got home from a 10 day trip in South Africa, 24 hours before you posted this. The beauty was like nothing I've ever experienced before. My wife and I are genuinely researching what it would take to move there from the US. Amazing people, amazing vibes, I got very emotional leaving. We are already figuring out when we're going back. It's also a crazy small world, we took a road trip around bali, only to watch your video when getting home. We literally stayed in the exact same suite at Munkduk Moding.
I am planning a trip soon....can you pls tell me how is it safety wise in. CAPE Town?
South Africa is a fascinating country to explore. I learned there are many stunning views and landscapes. Wish I could visit there. You guys deserve to be happy. See you soon.
Currently in South africa now and loving every minute of it. Are Currently in Franschhoek and it's amazing
Glad you’re enjoining it😊 Have a great time ❤️
Wow, I didn't know South Africa has penguins! I'll put Cape Town on my list now. Looks amazing there.
From one UA-camr to another... you guys, this video is fantastic. It's too good. Please stop raising the quality bar so high, thanks 😄. Really though, the info, the energy, the pacing, animations, voice over, footage, captions, music. Nailed it🤌
I’ve been wishing to go to Cape Town for years!! This was fantastic itinerary and has resparked my desire to go!!
My wife and I will be there for the first time in one week for our Honeymoon! Your videos helped us plan it, so thank you!
Have fun!
Bellissimo posto😍
Great video guys! I’ll try a few of those places you recommended. Thanks for sharing 🫡🥇
Hello, very beautiful.... keep it up...
Regards Reza from Pakistan
Can i ask in which beach you guys were playing volleyball?
This video has remember me of the time i lived in cape town studying english. The vibe is out of this world. Greetings from 🇧🇷
Of course, these videos don't show the reality of Cape Town. During Apartheid wealthy white suburbs (all shown in this video) were designed to never see poor townships; people living there act like they live in Beverly Hills! Hence, looking at these videos near the mountain's base in wealthy affluent Cape Town areas, it looks wonderful. The reality - the majority of people live in extreme poverty, there is homelessness everywhere, crime is one of the worst in the world, should never hike alone, etc. These are made by travel agencies so they don't want to show the real side of Cape Town where the majority live. Near Lion's Head and Camps Bay (shown in video) houses go for millions of US dollars and they have a lot of security!! There is a massive socio-economic divide in Cape Town, a city of haves and have-nots.
wow this video so amazing and beautiful.
I would love to visit Cape Town South Africa 🇿🇦 it seems like a nice place i love The Beach ⛱️
Harriet and I are hoping to make Cape Town by the end of the year via Cape Verde Islands. The video and sound was stunning ! The editing and narration has always been top notch .
Sometime ago Harriet and I had mentioned to you that you should video more from your own backyard. You did. WOW! This is the Perfect Trip . Hugs🫂 and Kisses💋 from Harriet
Jim and Yuki. Richmond, Va.
Please people when you come to south africa never go hiking alone. Bad news. Always go in a group. It is not as safe as you think.
Excellent video!!! I’m visiting the area this September and can’t wait! 👌🏼
Awesome video. Visiting in October and cannot wait!
Do you have any recommendations for taxi services with car seats for a baby for us to get around?
I will arrive 2 May 2025. I learned not to arrive in the rest of the world from the USA on 1 May each year like when I was in Montevideo a few months ago.
Would love to walk there, amazingly beautiful.
You guys are FABULOUS ‼️
Thank you for your support and watching 🙏🏼😃
Beautiful city. I have been there four times and done many of the things in this video. I am hoping to get back there in January so will try out some of the restaurants that you have shown. Thanks guys!
Nice video like always and cant wait for my upcoming Cape Town trip as I have fallen in love with the Tulbagh valley and my wife's got a secret afair with Table Mountain!
❤❤❤❤❤
Excellent video guys! This is super helpful as next trip over I don't really plan to do a long road trip again! Nice to get some fantastic recommendations for cape town and surrounding area! Can't wait for the next one! I love the Mother City and I leave a piece of my heart there each time I visit!
Wow, this itinerary is beautiful 😍 Cape Town is truly a gem, and these activities are the perfect way to experience its beauty and adventure. Can't wait to check out these tours when I visit. Thanks for sharing these amazing recommendations! 🌟
Awesome video once again. 🔥
Come to Nepal and explore ❤😮 🇳🇵🇳🇵
This was phenomenal! Thankyou for this ❤
Amazing video guys! This is making me soooo nostalgic from my trip to South Africa last year in July! Cape Town & surrounds is simply beautiful with so much to offer 🤍 can’t wait to go back!
Amazing video guys ❤
Great video :) how much would the 10 days cost without flights?
$2000-$3000 we would estimate. For all transport, activities, accommodation and food.
🎉 Nice video. I hope in the future, my Small Travel Channel can grow like yours. Maby you have some tips? 😢
Just keep on creating and putting out content. It’s a hard road but eventually you will get there if you work hard enough👊🏼
@@RhettandClaire thanks mate ❤️
Where there is a will, there can be a way.
Thanks. See you next December😊
I used to live in Cape Town about 20 years ago and really want to show my Brazilian husband and his family the country. I have been struggling with reasonable ideas to show them all the best - this is such an amazing itinerary, thank you so much for creating it!!!
We watched your videos after our first stay in South Africa (Marloth and Kruger parks) because we wanted to see more, your country is fascinating.
Our next vacation is scheduled from September 28 to October 10 and we would like to know if it is a good time to come to Cape Town, especially for swimming? Thank you for your answers !
Bule country South Africa
Great video. Thank you
Enjoy your work. Will you be doing your business, how your making money episode? Good to know the multiple revenue streams. Lastly, which country do you pay taxes in? What's the best hotel or Airbnb in Clifton area the best value, off the beach?
As a Cape Townian - the restaurant punts sound sponsored, I'd suggest there are plenty of better, cheaper and more genuine Cape Town options out there. The very local Durbanville(20km from city centre) wine & restaurant region also totally overlooked,
And... You guys are the first Cape Townians that I've ever heard refer to Bo Kaap as Bow Cup..... Really?
Otherwise, a great watch, as always!
Interesting video. Well done ❤
This is a lovely video. If you don't mind sharing what app are you using to show movement on the map such as the movement from the airport to Cape Town. Thank you
Hi there. Thank you for watching. It’s not an app. I make those maps myself😊
@@RhettandClaire How do you make them?
I use Apple motion software to do the animations.
@@RhettandClaire Thank you
😃 Lovely to see you two happy and healthy, with buoyed (and buoyant / (and up-lifting for others) spirits. 😃
I long to go so many places.
My wallet won't allow this.
Alas.
I love South African food. Potjie and the tomato beef stew are terrific. Biltong's a treat as well. The sights look lovely, as well.
What would you recommend for spending 4 nights/5 days in cape town before heading towards Franshoek, Sanbona and Hermanus for the rest of the two week trip? In September x
The garden route is a must . Mossel bay to Tsitsikamma. And bungee jump from the Bloukrans bridge ( 216m)
Do you have any tips for the Christmas period? I was thinking to hire a car and buy some food in advance and spend it on the beaches. I don’t care for Christmas personally but I need to plan for the fact it will happen around me.
I'm a proud Capetonian - born & bred - now living abroad. These videos are so expertly created! Thank you Rhett & Claire: your content constantly reminds me of how fortunate I am to come from such a beautiful city.
"Found Freedom". "You People" are hilarious - super cute though!!!
The video is beautiful. Would like to know how safe it is to travel within and around Cape Town?
The best one yet!! 3 days to go and I'll definitely be referencing this throughout the stay woohooooo ... you guys make the BEST videos 🎉
Hi guys, I just love your editing and you both have become my new favourite travel UA-camrs. I hope you make a video on a Garden route itinerary as well. Hope to see you guys travelling to many other parts of the world and getting inspired! Keep doing the good work ❤
Also, my husband and I are traveling to South Africa in December, during Christmas and New years! We are going to be using a lot of your suggestions. This video is very helpful 😁
Omg I didn't realise they had a Llandudno in SA 😍
Awesome❤❤❤
Hi does your guide cover 30 day accommodations that are not on Airbnb?
Hi Stacey, what do you mean by “30 day accommodation”?😊
@@RhettandClairejust longer stays and non hotel stays.
@@Stacey_Chenell yes it does. They can be expensive though 🙏🏻
May I know if it's safe to self drive going to the garden route? Can we drive with international license from the Philippines.
Yes it’s safe😁 and as far as we know, your international license from Philippines should work as long as it’s in English (I think, you’ll have to contact the car rental company)
We just love your videos. A highlight was still seeing you at Mojo’s when we were out in Cape Town
So awesome meeting you guys that night!😁❤️
This is the best video about Cape Town EVER!!!!! Wow!!!
🥹🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
thanks for your wonderful video
new sub is here
Thanks for the sub!

Great video!
Can you please just pronounce Bo Kaap properly
