Many thanks for another great video! I've been training Wing Chun for about 14 years now and have been teaching for the greater part of 8 years. I recently started training in Hsing Yi 9 months ago, out of a long interest in the art and also as a response to one of your videos ("Why Hsing Yi is so cool"). I love your explanations of Hsing Yi techniques as they apply to fighting. I believe that anyone who is a Wing Chun practitioner can gain a lot of benefit from studying Hsing Yi. I'll definitely check out your online courses.
Once again ... a great video describing and showing great movement following the attacker block and then explosive movements while still maintaining good posture/gate and stance. Most Art which is Martial schools now a days are lacking in greatly what Adam is demonstrating/teaching.
So, I have to say I love that you're exploring Xingyi more (would love to see more of these in the future). I would appreciate it even more if you could go into more detail on the footwork and stepping. To clarify, I had trained in many different martial arts and assumed I understood the angling and stepping of the footwork until I found a good school in my area recently. I know this is dependent on the school/style of Xingyi, but the way the initial step with the front foot is in line, but the rear foot comes up to the SanTi stance (which has about a fist width along that axis between the feet) creates a zig zag pattern almost opposite to what I was used to. I'm slowly grasping how that unique stepping allows you to enter the opponent's Zhong Men ("central door") to both make attacks available, but it also puts the line of the opponent's feet perpendicular to your own. Just pushing in this direction totally neutralizes the structure of their stance making counters extremely difficult. At any rate, I'm curious about your take on it! Thanks again!
Nice. The drilling fist seems to be more about creating openings for crushing and pounding fists and less about actually striking with the knuckles of the hand in my experience
Hi Adam i reasontly saw a video about Tong bei Quan and it was mentioned that the Russians where taught by some Chinese masters and created systema from it... I was wondering if you would like to show us the energetics and practical application and the history behind that Tong bei Quan system?
Wooow dude, this maybe rude but I had/have to practice this move for 8 months before learning my first form in Lung Ying. Chuen Choi in Southern Dragon, my Sifu tells me has everything, offense Defense chin Na etc. That's crazy it's in XingYi as well. I'm starting to see gungfu as one big family with different attributes
Hi sir! I can u make a program of hakka or hsing i or long Fiat...for none wing chun practicioners. I would really love to learn. Thank You for your time!
Finally some Hsing Yi content from a Western source! Brill.
And from someone who actually knows what he is talking about.

Hi Adam.
Really great video!
Is there any chance you could do a short video on Fajin from Tai Chi Chuan?
Many thanks 🙏
Xing Yi is awesome! ❤

Excellent representations. Would it possible to go into a series like this for the 12 animal fists of xing yi?
Your demonstration of technique is second to none. Thank you

For the water fist, is it possible to use a crossing fist to counter it?
Sir don’t you think it’s wing chun incorporated and vise versa
You could do the stomp with any form. There’s no separation with power
sending love and peace to everyone...
