Ms. Larissa, your presence in this video is so comforting. I feel like I'm listening to my grandmother sharing her reassuring wisdom with me. 💕
Well I do have three grandsons so I have plenty of practice but I have been explaining the ins and outs of Convection cooking for so long I guess I got good at it! I hope the information was helpful for you.
Larissa,
Thank you for your your instructional video! I have a question and I need some help. I have a z-line ra-36 range. There are up to 5 positions to receive the oven glide rack(s). The original oven came with two glide racks. I have an event coming for a large number of guests. Could I add two additional oven glide racks to increase the quantity of product? Could I place 4 full sheet trays in the oven and use convection to get uniform cooking temperature? Should I go back to high bake to get the oven back up up to temperature and then go to convection. My ultimate goal is to cook everything uniformly top to bottom and inside to outside. I need your advice...
Is your range range gas or dual fuel and what are you planning to cook?
Most ranges come with 3 racks but you could use 4 depending on what you are cooking.
A 36” cavity on an pro style range usually does fit a full sheet pan but I am not familiar with this range so can’t say for sure. Do you have one to try?
Can I use this type of oven to bake commercial bread
Yes a Convection can be used to bake multiple racks of bread at one time however an oven designed for home use would not be ideal for baking large quantities of bread. If you are just starting out then it would be fine but for volume baking you will need a professional oven.
