I have a ninja 400. First bike with no experience. It’s sporty enough for my first one and not too fast where I can’t handle it. I’ve had no problems at all. You won’t get bored of it unless you’re getting a bike just for speed.

​@winger9229 yup, the 400 has enough speed to do all of what these guys are doing, if that's you're cup of tea. My speedo tops out at 125 but the real speed is probably 115-120 appx.
