Because 2020 G2 was great then they changed only one player and suddenly G2 doesn't go to worlds. Rekkles becomes an easy scapegoat, regardless if he deserves the hate or not. Most people barely understand the game to know that Rekkles isn't "passive" or something stupid they make about him, he doesn't go for coinflip plays where you expect the opponent to fuck up, which G2 is used to because they are to stomp the enemy, but that doesn't work because everyone is at G2's level now. I'd even argue Rekkles is at least top 2 in G2 right with Wunder on his side because of his high consistency. Caps and jankos have high ups and high lows and both can int, especially Caps. Mikky is not good but it's not bad either on stage, compared to Rekkles at least.

They do like each other and enjoy it more when they are not on stage. U can see how much more fun and relaxed they are when they just play Duo for themself and trying new things out. They do know how good rekless is, with a very low death rate and only going in, when he can do it. @@Nallieheai actually not really, RANT TIME: i have watched many of rekkles and mikyx's streams they are very comfortable playing during solo queue and its a reach to say the reason why mikyx is roaming is because of poor synergy... rekkles has been playing weak side most of summer split, while mikyx has roamed to try and funnel gold into caps, that's a known play some teams use in order to get their mid lane ahead because essentially mid opens up the map and makes it easier for caps to do caps things. (carry) the problem is caps had a bad split and wunder had an even worse split, this meant rekkles had all the attention on him to carry but what can an adc to if A) he's playing weakside and B) His solo laners are either behind or inting. Not to be that person but wunder played bad this whole year, the reason why G2 carried games was because of caps and rekkles, look at the spring split stats, caps then wasn't performing as bad as he was which meant games could last longer and G2 is known for their amazing late game and that's where we saw caps and rekkles really shine. rekkles is PASSIVE no doubt about that but by now G2 should know how to play around him if they wanted to make it to worlds, give rekkles a carry and he will show results but that's on the condition his team isn't GIGA behind, an adc can only do so much. i don't blame him, jankos or caps really.
