So yes I have been lured in by Motherland:Fort Salem and the awesomeness that is Raylla. I've been watching since the premier but I have been waiting for more story to be able to vid these two. I am a Scylla apologist and proud. Although I do have eyes and am able to see the seeds the show is planting about Scylla. We shall see if I'm right or if I'm a clown lol! Anyway if you're not watching this show please do yourself a favor and check it out on Hulu. It's an amazing show with a wonderful female cast. All very talented and I can't say enough good things about them and this show.
Anyway about the video... I was trying to show Raelle's struggle with learning of Scylla's betrayal but also Scylla struggling with falling for Raelle despite her mission and how she failed terribly. These two are so complex and watching them develop has been a pleasure to watch. I hope I captured them and their story well. This was such a hard vid to make. Mainly because of all the content. Cutting scenes out and certain dialogue was next to impossible. I focused a bit more on Raelle because we don't fully have Scylla's backstory. I may make a Scylla focused vid after the finale.
Anyway enough rambling from me. I'm sure no one reads this anyway lol

Amalia’s screams just seemed so freaking real and I love the chemistry she and Taylor have. Like I watched their interview where they talked about the dungeon scenes and you can just tell they really dug down deep to reach those emotions. Every time I watch those scenes I just break down with them. And the fact the actresses had hugging sessions and after scene conversations makes it even better 🥺 the cast are so talented and amazingly real. I’m excited for next season, I wanna see what they do with the separation of these two 🥺🥺🥺
Absolutely love this edit. I especially loved the switching things around so that the last scene to look as if it happens after Raelle finds out about who Scylla is. Hopefully, one day, we get a similar scene to this... but it's Raelle accepting Scylla's entire past and who she is (assuming of course that Scylla learns to chill the f*ck down and stops with all of the murdering and all that :P)
Thank you so much! Yeah that last scene was definitely something to hope for in the future. Raelle saying this before she knew about Scylla seems like foreshadowing. I think we will be surprised about Scylla in the finale if you ask me 😉

Helloo I'm finally here lol. When I saw that you used this song I was like of course. Its a perfect song for them plus I know you've been wanting to use it. I love how you used that scene in the beginning. It really fit nicely with the music and the voiceover was perfect too. Setting up the tone of the vid. You know I love some lyric matching with the hand holding and of course "half in the shadows, half burned in flames." Good stuff good stuff. Love all the parallels esp the kiss/chin grab and I loved that you used their happy moments when Anacostia was in Scyllas head. I'm glad I finally watched the show so I could see your vid. LOOOVED IT!

You know I love some good lyric matching and I knew that voiceover for the beginning was perfect for this.
