I watched this recently on RiffTrax, but I have to say the Creature Features print is stunning. I don't think I have ever seen a movie on Creature Features look this great. So fantastic job on this, and thank you!
A fun movie once the story got going and it's always a treat to see classic stop-motion dinosaur animation. Thanks for sharing this, Creature Features. :)
Aaaah. Learning to fly, Back in the day when all that was needed was a good strong catapult, a metal hat, 12 gallons of red bull and a devil may care attitude. I don't remember actually flying but I do remember waking up in someone else's garden shed with a man shaped hole in the roof and a heck of a headache.
Classic Creature Feature which contains a legendary battle between a Tyrannosurus and a mechanical digger, similar to what took place in the Colosseum in Rome back in the day. Not to be missed!......unless you're doing something else.....in which case watch it later....if you feel like it!
Great movie!! Love these classics. Keep up the great work looking forward to see what you have in store for the future. Love your show you guys rock!! Happy New Year Creature Features & all your fans as well 🎉🎉
🎉Happy New YEAR TO EVERYONE AT CF, AND CF SUBSCRIBERS, I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL HAPPY NEW YEAR FILLED WITH LOVE HAPPINESS BLESSINGS PROSPERITY AND GOOD HEALTH

Drive-Ins need to make a comeback. So much fun as a teenager in the 70’s. We still laugh about the night we had my dad’s pick-up truck and forgot to put the speaker back on the stand. We backed out, the speaker tore off the post and went flying, and we went ripping out of the lot terrified we were going to be arrested for damaging property. I think that thing was in the truck until it went to the junkyard years later. God Bless the 70’s!
I'm in lafayette, but I have been to the shadeland Drive-In. The drive-in closest to me is Mel's Drive-In in Kirklin, which is a very cool retro kind of place. I've seen quite a few movies there. In the heyday of the 1950s, there were 4600 drive-ins in the country. I believe at last count today, there are something like 336 left (and I believe there was a little bit of a resurgence during the covid thing). There are allso 40 in Canada. Kokomo used to have aN x-rated Drive-In, not that I would know anything about that...
@@rodneywalden5358yeah, it's one of many that we lost we used to have the East side drive in here in lafayette, but I think it went down around the early nineties. We still have a number here in the state, thank goodness.
FWIW, this movie is really hysterically funny, in an intelligent campy way. It’s like they had comedy writers aware of what they were working with, and who leaned into it for the laughs. There’s so many very deliberate comedy bits written into the script, which is highly unusual for a movie of this nature.
Check this, The females in that movie didn't know how to ride & only used the Farmers Horses for ONE HOUR so HE could finish his days work with the horses. Not sure, could have just been 2 hours.
@@strangebiped That's pretty funny. It's like how when Christopher Walken was the Headless Horseman in "Sleepy Hollow" he admitted he didn't know how to ride.
Thank you for the film..great fun and Dana was interesting.. mh father was in the 450th squadron of the Australian air force in ww2.. sorry I'm not aircraft savvy but he was an engineer on the " spit fires" and other craft.. he told me of his escapades in " Cairo" for his favourite pistachio icecream... anyway I am rambling! Much in appreciation!!!😊
The coolest plane that I saw was the Rutan? Voyager at the EAA Air Show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin Back when my dad taught high school he used to spend all week there. It was about an hour from where we lived. He was in the first college class to build an airplane that was just a regular college not an airplane "college" back in the early 1970's.
My dad used to have a J3 Cub WWII trainer. A storm screwed up the hanger and the plane and by then he had three kids and couldn't afford to fix the plane He sold it for scrap and resided a two story house and built a garage with the money he got for it
If you like aviation, then 8 hours north of Bodega bay in Mc Minville, Oregon there is the Evergreen Aviation and Space museum. Lots of planes both commercial and military including the Howard Hughes Spruce Goose. IF you ever come North, stop in!
EASM, you're my neighbor in McMinnville. Def a very cool aviation museum. PS That distance is only 1.5 hrs by plane & in the heart of 'Wine country' with some of the best Pinot Noir in the U.S.
Dinosaur movies are awesome! By the way, I have a question for the folks at the Poulter Mansion. I'm breeding Kasai Rex but a lot of my males are showing feeding aggression. Does Tangella have any tips on how to fix this problem?
My dad's EAA club does the annual Air and Tractor show every year. He is also the President of the model airplane club at the airport so they show them off that weekend. They teach a class once a week for kids every year where they build gliders from kits and then they hook them up to a plane that my dad flies and then they glide them back to the ground They have electronic controls for the flaps. The whole thing is free from the EAA. I provided the lead weights from my fishing tackle box to balance them.
I'd love to know where Gustave Whitehead's plane is displayed. (He beat the Wright Brothers by two years, and they visited his shop between the time of his maiden voyage and theirs.)
I saw there was yet another scene that James Cameron copied for one of his movies. (Aliens) The more older movies I watch, the more I realise James Cameron isn't nearly as original or a movie genius as people think he is.
James Cameron is a movie genius! Watch his documentary where he builds a sub and takes it down to the deepest trench in the sea by himself. The dudes a pioneer and when Aliens came out in 1986 No One had ever seen special effects or monsters that real looking ever! Watch his older stuff before Avatar. You'll see how good he is compared to others.
I always hit the notification button and I never get the notice... I signed up for all things and I only get them random? Wonder why... So I am watching is now that its already over ...lol

Love these old movies. Takes me back to my childhood.
That was a fun movie, an interesting insight into how much special effects have changed since the 60's ;)

The amount of times I've asked for a Tangella doll in your merch!!!😆😆
I’m pumped for this 60’s kid dinosaur movie. Saw it in the mid 70’s and it has stayed with me since. Excellent choice C.F. folks.
A fun movie once the story got going and it's always a treat to see classic stop-motion dinosaur animation. Thanks for sharing this, Creature Features. :)
Stop motion was how I learned about cinematography :) For scary films at least.
Thank you Creature Features for showing this entertaining movie. The film and audio quality was excellent. 👍🎥💫

Saturday nights are better. Creature Features Fridays reminds me when I went to BlockBuster and rented out any kinda cheesy films. It was fun.
What inspired Spielberg vs. what Spielberg inspired

Steven Spielberg was still in high school when this was in
theaters. This might've been the inspiration for
JURASSIC PARK.
Jurassic Park was written by author Michael Crichton
At a minimum, it was likely an inspiration for "Scooby Doo's Night With a Frozen Fright."

A film from Jack. H. "The Blob" Harris.
Happy New Year! Some footage from the film was used in episodes of The Twilight Zone and Gilligan's Island.
Juan Soto saved this episode with his viewer mail segment. Props to you Juan. The guest was good as well. Flic was forgettable.
Who doesn't love a fighter jets cockpit
At 1 hour in the T. rex is next to the car roaring. So that’s where Jurassic park got that idea for a scene from. Lol
Not the first time a monster has been dispatched with a mechanical device.

This movie could be the prequel to KillDozer. 😅. Big old Dozer at beginning.
Every time the kid comes on and talks about herbivores, I have violent flashbacks to the youtube videos of herbivore deers killing and eating snakes.
