- A 16-year-old male has been fatally shot by police in Perth’s south.
This comes after the boy had stabbed a man in the back in a Willetton carpark.
The man was taken to hospital and remains in a serious but stable condition.
The police confronted the attacker who was asked to drop the knife but instead lunged at the police.
The police tasered the 16-year-old before finally fatally shooting him.
The Western Australian premier and police commissioner labelled the attack as having ‘hallmarks of a terror incident’ but not officially declaring it a terror attack.
Funny how they tell you his race when he's white. But if he was black or brown Muslim, they'd not say a word and you'd have to put the pieces together

i'm pretty sure this was a kid at my school, he was a white guy. i went to primary and high school with him. he was diagnosed with autism. in primary school he was really into russian stuff but then in high school changed that interest into islam around 2022-2023. he started wearing a religious headwear (im not sure what it's called) and that's all i really know about him.
edit: i'm not sure if this was true, but sometimes i would take the same bus as him and one time around 1 year ago he said he had a bomb in his bag (which he was joking about), but did say he knew how to make one and was under surveillance to a year 8.
edit 2: if you're wondering how i know who it is, one of the kids in my year was sent a message by him

This was a kid at my school, I don't know if I want to name him out of respect for his family, but I will provide all the information I know. I went to primary and high school with him, he was a white guy that did not grow up Muslim. Tall (I'd say around 6'1) but skinny. Back in 2019 (year 6), I remember him being really into Russian stuff, but then changed that interest into Islam around last year (or at least that's when I noticed) and started wearing religious headwear. He was also diagnosed with autism when he was younger.
He was radicalised for thinking he was a martyr and an agent of the Al Qaeda. Which apparently he did actually join but the guy who sent the message in Discord deleted it, and the kid who sent the message was messaged by the boy himself, but I couldn't really comprehend it cause it was in Arabic and English.
He was well known by our cohort for being super religious and watching bombings during class (was told by a classmate that they had seen him watching that and graphic content) and even set off a lithium bomb in the boys changeroom at our school (told by another classmate that was there during the time). After that he was under surveillance.

So, basically, 3 adult male were unable to stop a kid with a knife, and they decided to give him a death sentence instead on the spot. Let the tribunal and the judges give a sentence. The police should not be allowed to decide whether a criminal should survive or not, especially when unarmed.

There were three officers at the time of the shooting. Two officers deployed their tasers, but both were ineffective. After the tasers were deployed, the suspect charged at the third officer, who had his firearm drawn. Because knives can be just as deadly as a firearm, the officer fired one shot at the boy.

The Australian government must provide mental health assistance to young muslims who think stabbing non believers is a religious activity. These young people have serious issues and we are failing to understand that these attacks are completely out of character with the Islamic faith, and calling them terrorists is a despicable slur on people of faith.
