Day 7: Steve Mcqueen, IRR-FR Co-Production Day & Isabelle Huppert

Another star-studded day at #DublinIFF24 with a great selection of industry events.
We were delighted to have Steve McQueen in person to be presented with the prestigious DIFF award, the Volta by President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins. Straight into an in-depth overview of McQueen's career with Mark O'Halloran.
At the Complex, supported by Screen Ireland, the IRR-FR Co-Production Day with the French ambassador, Vincent Guerend, in attendance provided an opportunity for French & Irish film producers to meet and network, followed by Dublin On Screen 2 featuring work from young filmmakers in Dublin.
Then it's DIFF Shorts 2 with filmmakers coming from far and wide to display their work! Back in The Complex, the Screen Composers Guild focus on the intricacies of scoring for documentaries.
But that's not all! We are honoured to show 'Sidonie in Japan' with Madame Isabelle Huppert and director, Élise Girard in attendance.
