Ash, u hit the nail on the head on this one with scent life and performance. I get about 4-5 hours max but man I still love it, especially for the price $30-$40.
The opening is really nice! I mixed it with a few Fahrenheit sprays and it was a nice combo!
Drakkar Noir is the only cologne that I loved the smell enough to ask and look it up.
Now I trust your opinion 100%

Drakkar Noir was probably the first men's cologne I purchased with my own money. It was either that or Polo.
The setting is very fit, only thing your missing is a tobacco pipe lol

I’ve been waiting on this one from you lol. My first fragrance other than nautica voyage was drakkar noir, and it’s probably one of my all time faves . Really want to love it.
This was bought for me by mistake. I was talking to her about Drakkar meaning Noir to her in passing but not realizing that she was going to look for it as part of my birthday so when she looked she bought the current one Drakkar Intense along with buying Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense(Nice Creed Aventus clone). So the Drakkar scent is an added bonus really. For me luckily it lasts 8 to 10 hours on my skin. I put it on 6am to try it for the first time and 5pm the same day I could still smell it. I guess I'm just another one lucky here with this scent. I actually like it so I am glad that I have added it to my collection. My partner likes the smell too. I know no one says to do this but spray on the back of your wrist. Scents seems to last longer for me that way rather than on my inside palm up wrist.
I really like this cologne a lot because it has that powdery, barbershop smell...almost like Stetson but sweeter.
That's the reason I love it. Smells like an old school barbershop.
I have been waiting for this for weeeeeeeeks....now i will finally enjoy the moment he talks about the flanker
I saw Drakkar, the fireplace... and was certain we'd see you in a velvet robe laying on a Bear skin rug sipping cognac, but alas... i have a feeling we shall have to wait for Drakkar Noir Intense-Extreme EDP for this. 😆

We need to give these companies a break with regards to performance. The amount of ingredients that are now banned in fragrances is making it impossible for them to last like they used to.
PLEASE try Belcams clone of Drakkar! It's based on the OG formula, and it smells like OG Drakkar! It's so much better than the reformulated real Drakkar.
I'm lowkey rich, but wear the $8 Belcam Drakkar clone about once a month because it smells like Tom Sellecks mustache.

Better performance than fragrances costing 4 times more and a pleasant surprise in today’s offerings. I like it and the new polo green really takes me back in time.
*Nice setting for a drakar Noir flanker review. Only thing missing is an automatic Rifle & a huge pile of “Powdered Milk”*

Drakkar noir was my first “signature scent” every time I smell or even see it, (don’t find it in the wild very often) I am transported back in time to 17 years old.
Just nabbed this and a Cremo cologne to see how they’d compare to my collection on Amazon, total for both being exactly 40, can’t wait!
I got a sample of this with my Prada Lhomme Intense order. I actually really like how this smells. Performance is def trash but the smell itself is really nice. I’m 37 so I’m within that age range. I also really like Bois du Portugal by Creed so I’m pretty much 73 .

Just grabbed this for $23 shipped. Smelled this at Walmart where they wanted like $35 for a 1.7 oz!😂🤣I enjoyed it start to finish so I HAD to have it being a life long fan of Drakkar Noir! Now it just needs to get here!

If it’s anything like pasha de Cartier parfum I’m in that’s my favorite fragrance of 2020 and the best Cartier hands down.
Just picked this up the other day from Marshall’s because I love Noir. To me it’s definitely a soapy clean barbershop type shaving cream scent it’s perfectly sweet I get hints of noir that Irish spring type scent. With a hint of vanilla..performance I’d say I get about 4-6 hours. To me it’s a more elegant version of noir. Like your great grandfathers cologne 😂
100% agree on your review. I’ve had it for a couple weeks. The opening and mid are fantastic. Super bummed on the performance. I’m glad I bought it though. Almost worth it.

@@wayne2150 you’re absolutely correct. Everyone’s skin chemistry is different. I had similar results as Ash. I got about 4-5 hours before I had to reapply after lunch.
@@RTM459 eventually it will cheap enough to have a couple bottles. Then you wouldn’t have to worry about reapplying every few hours.

wow! I like the smell of Drakkar intense when I smelled it at the store. And i didnt make the connect with Azzaro or Pasha but I like those too! I guess it all makes sense !
I think it’s okay. Feel like Drakkar intense could use some touch ups as well to be even better. Was expecting more for what it was. To me it also smells like cinnamon with touches of soap. It’s kinda decent but not mind blowing.
Finally a different background. Was getting very bored with it. You should definitely change more from locations. It keeps it fresh. Great video ash

En México es imposible. Algunos youtubers, recomiendan comprar en tiendas pirata, otros venden ellos mismos, pero se abastecen en estas tiendas. A ambos los conoces. DIGAMOS NOOO A LA PIRATERIA... existen tiendas que venden al mismo precio con garantìa de satisfacción y facturan sin aumentar el precio.

Scents of south jersey wore this for a week and he was really disappointed in the performance gave it a 5 of 10. Just like Ash he was really hyped about it, but it is what it is.

Ive been using drakkar noir since 2007.. i got around 20+ bottles i still keep.. but now its so hard to get and the smell does not smell the same anymore..

Try layering the newer Noir with Dakkar perfume oil, I find it gives Noir a boost in all the right places.
Sounds like a fragrance you need to reapply. I have a serious question for you that maybe you can address in a video. It may even be a video that nobody has done. How do you feel about overlaping fragrances? I've been mixing two over my T-shirt and I keep getting compliments. I take it back I think I've seen a video about molecule one. Maybe something I should buy. How do you feel about mixing 2 designer fragrance together?
It’s called layering. You should visit school of scents sometimes. He makes a video about layering 2 fragrances recommended by people.
Drakkar Noir and Al Rehab Dakkar perfume oil go extremely well together.
When layering it is best to use similar scents rather than totally different ones in order for them to complement each other rather than clash.
What are your thoughts on Drakkar Essence?

Not a clone at all but somewhat similar. I use the perfume oil version to layer with Drakkar Noir.

Like 6:25 into the video, starts to become comical. Like something you'd see playing on the tv of a comedy horror tv series. Like he's talking, then they hear something so they mute to listen. It's nothing, so unmutes the tv. Then hears something again. Mutes the tv again and wanders over to the window. You can hear the rain. Then tries to gently undo the blinds, but they just fly up and it's standing there, hissing at them.l 👍

Not trying to be a contrarian, but it could just be your nose. Let me explain... I love patchouli scents. To my nose, patchouli is very subtle. I can't really smell it after about 30 minutes but other people can smell it on me for a day or more. I get compliments on smelling great hours after I'm nose blind to my own scent. And it looks like patchouli is the base of Intense just by looking at the ingredients. Heck, it even looks like patchouli. If you buy straight up patchouli oil it looks just like that. I'm excited to try Intense. I'm headed to the mall later today to see if I can try it and hopefully get a few samples.

It has that herbal Drakkar Noir DNA, but it also fits modern sensibilities. It's a really nice fragrance in my opinion. The main thing I get is this really nice spicy, peppery musk over vanilla and Drakkar herbal undertones. I think it's definitely worth buying for the price and if you like Drakkar Noir and you can also appreciate warmer scents you might really like it.

I'd say it's pretty patchouli heavy. Also, if you like patchouli, mix Calvin Klein Obsession with more patchouli oil. That is a magical blend
