This very very useful video, Thank you Sir, please put more video for the code acceptance related and explanation, examples are super but 1 request I need unit in mm related examples more.Thank you very much Sir
I wonder if you can help me out unerstand when youn talk about cyclically loads you mentioned that 1 hole of porosity in 4 inches of lenght is allowed as long as it is less than 3/32 in diameter, but in your example you have 3 holes spaced enough apart to pass but the size of the middle one exceeds 3/32 being 1/8 but you still accept it??? shuldnt be a rejection because of the size ???
I realized, it shall be less than 3/32" so it is causing the rejection. thank you so much for pointing it out. I will edit the video and correct that mistake. I really appreciate your feedback Sir
Respected Sir, Are these conditions also applicable to prequalified welds in AWS D1.1? I meant if welds are made according to AWS D1.1 chapter 3 prequalified weld schemes, still we will use the 'same acceptance criteria' as you indicated in this video ?
Welding Inspection okay sir actually yesterday I wrote asnt level 3 examination and failed,in exam given almost 20questions on this evaluation graph.if you can make asap it will be helpful for me.next month I have schedule☺️
Thanks. Am preparing for aws welding inspection course. It's very useful
you are welcome Sir, let me know if I can help you with anything else. I have some practice questions as well for you
Also, this specific video is very useful for part B exam. they will ask you around 5 questions from them.
@@weldinginspection7239 sir can you share practical questions. My mail panneer. Tanishq@gmail.com
Thanks, informative video keep it up.
Very informative about AWS D 1.1 welding defects. please post acceptance croteria for other surface defects

Hi. your videos are so good because you mix the acceptance criteria with examples. I wish you could talk a little bit about B31.3. THANKS

This confused me too. I wasn't sure if I was missing something.
Best Boss...👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😬😬👍
thank you sir
It is only acceptance criteria for structural or can we use this for equipment or vessels aslo ?
I have doubt, what is maximum acceptable size of single porosity in fillet weld (on statically loaded non tubular connection)
Respected Sir,
Are these conditions also applicable to prequalified welds in AWS D1.1? I meant if welds are made according to AWS D1.1 chapter 3 prequalified weld schemes, still we will use the 'same acceptance criteria' as you indicated in this video ?
In your explanation : second check ,
Diameter shall not exceed (3/32)", but (1/16)>(3/32) as well as (1/8)>(3/32). Then how, it has been accepted.
Hello Tapon Sir, thank you for catching this, one more viewer showed the same concern. you are correct. I need to to update that. great catch :)
@@weldinginspection7239, I saw that after commented.
you are right
1/16>3-32? 1/16 is lesser that 3/32. The mistake is in 1/8 that is > 3/32 and shall be rejected
Nice Explanation ..keep it up..
thanks
Sir what is maximum diameter for prosity in staic load in 1 inch
do you have any questions to study for cwi part B?
